We went to Haldeman Ford-Hamilton on October 3rd, and a gentleman by the name of John, who sold us a used Chevy Impala and we ended up going home with the car the same day. John who was our salesman ended up quitting the following week. So basically it appeared that because this salesman just up and quit, the ball was dropped, and a lot of final steps to complete our loan was never done. We were then called by another John and Tylisha from the dealership and were told that, although we signed documents and were supposed to be financed through Wells Fargo, that didn't happen, the loan bounced back. So after about a month of driving around in the car, we ended up being financed and picked up by another financing bank. We left a deposit that was cashed October 9th, and as of to date and it's been two months and we still have not received tags or plates on the car. My boyfriend has been late about two times for work trying to obtain additional temporary tags, due to his temporary tags expiring twice. The front plate on the car fell off and that was supposed to be replaced and never was. We had issues with the radio because it gets no reception and Sirius, that was supposed to come with the vehicle, doesn't work due to the previous owner swapping out the original radio that came with the car and replacing it with another radio. We were promised by Tylisha that this matter would be taken care of, that she would get back to us ASAP with a resolution before we went out of town to Ohio. After the promises and the lack of resolving this on her part, I reach out to her again and her reply now is it's out of my hands, we were given her cell phone number and we were told to call her and try to track her down to get this resolved. Now after another day of my boyfriend taking off time from work to go in late because he was told by Tylisha that his plates would be in on 12/2/15, now he was told they would be in tomorrow12/3/15. A whole two months of driving around with temporary tags, missing plate in the front of the vehicle and no Sirius radio. I am not too sure what is going on at this dealership, or what they are trying to cover up, but the way they treat their customers after their sales quota is met, is totally unethical. Tylisha also reported our issue to her manager, and no effort of contact or resolution has been made by him either. I was told by Tylisha after the broken promises, and expected customer service, it was out of their hands. Then after I filed a complaint with the BBB and posted a couple of reviews on the dealership, we were told that Stewart Financial declined his loan and they just found out about this on December 5th and we need to come back in with the car and surrender the vehicle. Was told that they could get Tra approved but it would be for an older car, higher finance rate and higher payment. I did some research online and found out this practice is illegal and a scam and it's called "Spot and Deliver". At this point even if the dealership does makes good on this problem and Tra gets back his car, it still has been an inconvenience due to not having any transportation for 4 days. Mr. Leroy also had to switch shift to carpool so job would not be lost. Lost sleep because of this and couldn't eat due to all the worrying and embarrassment he has faced by losing a car, he showed to his friends and family and paid insurance on for 2 months. Now they are trying to hold are $500 deposit after their screw up. read more

I purchased a 2019 F150 on February 19th. I asked my salesman, Keenan, 3 times if he can find out about the truck having a second key. I asked the manager Mike Longo and he directed me to speak to Keenan. On the third time, Keenan assured me that all certified vehicles come with 2 keys (instead of ACTUALLY looking). After I finished the paperwork and gave the cashier my down payment, I proceeded to the truck and at that point I asked Keenan where the second key was. At that point, he felt it was a good time to inform me that Haldeman Ford OWES me a second key and that I would receive it in the mail in 5 days. I followed up with Keenan on February 27th. No reply. I followed up again on March 3rd. No reply. March 4th. No reply. In the meantime, contacted the Ford used sales manager Mike who seemed to be avoiding my and my messages. Finally Mike answered when I called from my other phone number and sounded surprised. After calling and calling I finally heard back from Keenan on March 5th. He proceeded to tell me I can go to PA and have a key made at Haldeman's expense. (Apparently the key was on backorder, even though it was available at numerous other places) I live nowhere near Philly so I gave the alternate of me getting the key made at a local dealer and Haldeman will reimburse me. Keenan and Mike agreed. March 8th, I had a key made and paid $284.28. I received a "we owe" from Keenan. I was told I would receive the check for reimbursement by March 11th. Followed up March 16th. Did not hear back. Followed up on March 17th. Was told I'd receive it by the end of the week. Did not receive it. Followed up on March 24th. Keenan said they were going to receive the check from corporate on March 25th and overnight it to me. Messaged Keenan on March 31st and got no reply (by the way, turn off your "read receipts" if you don't want me to know that you're reading my messages and not replying). Talked to Paul and got no callback from him, either. Why can't anyone be straight with me? Received check on April 1st. Check bounced in April 2nd. Unreal. read more

Dan in the service department was friendly and knowledgeable - he made a confusing situation (when you don't know much about how cars, warranty's etc.. work !) easy to navigate. We had called a dealer in Lawrence NJ (because they were a little closer) and were treated very poorly - the service department there basically told us to figure out how to get our van to them and they would get to it when they had time - no promises, period. Dan at Haldeman explained the problem we were having was probably covered under warranty, provided us with a phone number to Ford and we were able to arrange a tow truck to come and get the van and bring it in that evening. Dan called and kept us updated along the way as to repairs, time frame (which was incredibly fast) and diagnosed another problem we were not aware of - Overall we are extremely satisfied with Haldeman - you can be very proud of your service center - and in particularly of Dan - who as I said - went over and above to provide excellent service. read more

I come in, ask for Dana and he greets me with a smile and says, Tom what are you looking for. As soon as i say an Explorer he already knows the color red and options. No sales pitch, undevided attention and goes out of his way to find the vehile if it is not in stock. My wife and i have purchase or leased 5 cars from him, and he has always been fair and honest. Absolute crooks in service. Took our 2008 mustang in for a recall for the driver side airbag. Picked the car up turned onto 33 and immediately noticed the blinkers wouldn't shut off. Went back and they said switch probably went bad but they would check their work. They called a few hours later and said the spring assembly in the steering wheel was broke and its 350 bucks. This did not sit well with us. Obviously they broke this while doing the recall repair but would do nothing for us. Just said it was not their fault. Have no idea how this place gets away with this.. I usually hate going to car dealerships almost as much as I like going to a dentist. I was researching a car through USAA car buying services and Haldeman Ford had a car I was interested in through their internet sales. Salesman Walter was curteous and respectful of what I wanted and did not push more expensive models on me. He actually beat the price of USAA and the deal rated very well in carguru.com. They also beat the interest rate my bank was going to offer. I just wish it did not take so long to buy a car, but You have that at every dealership. read more

I had to recently have my car serviced at your location and I was provided with excellent customer service! Upon learning that the issue with my car would take all day to fix I was offered a ride to work. When I further explained that I had various offsite meetings to attend that day they provided me with a loaner car for the day. David was very friendly and prompt.
