Before the job started we hit an unexpected bump in the road (the removal of some asbestos floor tiling, which NYS required licensed professionals to handle). John calmly walked me through the process and was able to work with me and my timeline. All throughout the project John would update me, even sending me pics, when I was not able to get over to Mom's house. He was honest about his abilities, and took the time to meet with me and answer questions after the project was completed and paid for. I found John and his company to be trustworthy and reliable and only wish they did home renovation so I could hire them to do work in my house.

Phone calls went unanswered, text messages were ignored, and instead of scheduling an appointment, he showed up unannounced at 10:15 a.m., waking me up by climbing onto my roof without any prior notice. It's now been over a week, and I still have not received an estimate. At no point did he discuss the scope of the work, explain what repairs were needed, or provide any pricing. What was most frustrating is that he never even inspected the two areas we specifically called about. Those were the main problem areas, yet there was no investigation whatsoever. Instead, he simply took a few photos while standing on the roof and left. I was left with pictures but no answers, no diagnosis, and no estimate. I was also surprised to learn that the company does not offer any workmanship warranties. While that may be their business policy, it did not give me confidence. When you're trusting someone with one of the most important parts of your home, standing behind the quality of your work matters. Overall, the lack of communication, the unannounced visit, the failure to inspect the areas we were actually concerned about, the absence of an estimate even after more than a week, and the lack of any workmanship warranty left me with a very poor impression. Tim was able to come up with a plan to create an access, dig out the crawlspace, repair the structure, seal it against moisture, and re-insulate it. His team did a great job in the time expected despite finding more damage than was planned. I had his team come back the next year to fix similar issues in other areas of the crawlspace on a much larger scale. There, we found many more issues that were unexpected including structural flaws and water line leaks. Thanks to his team's broad skillset, work ethic, and knowledge a huge amount of work was done in as short of a time as possible. Tim was also helpful in suggesting options to save time and money on the project by me bringing in side labor apart from his team's work. The house was torn up for this project, making their commitment to getting the job done correctly while also dedicating 100% of their time to my job was invaluable. Projects like these where the amount of work is unknown leaves the homeowner vulnerable to being soaked on cost, work that is incomplete, or a project schedule that drags on and on. I found Tim to be very reasonable in setting expectations as best he could, getting us to a solution, and finding a fair way to set his prices so his team wasn't working for free and I wasn't overpaying.

I had to beg them to comeback to fix it. They did a crappy job fixing it and didn't even fix everything. I could've hired someone from Craigslist and they would've done a better job. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They didn't even offer to compensate for the damages to my warped sink, damaged walls, damaged clothes and gas generator the water damage destroyed due to their negligence. STAY FAR AWAY.
