I moved into a house that had a very tight (8-12") crawlspace where the moisture rotted the floor joists to the point of cracking. Due to the limited access and uncertainty of how much damage existed, many companies took one look at it and didn't want to bid it. Tim was able to come up with a plan to create an access, dig out the crawlspace, repair the structure, seal it against moisture, and re-insulate it. His team did a great job in the time expected despite finding more damage than was planned. I had his team come back the next year to fix similar issues in other areas of the crawlspace on a much larger scale. There, we found many more issues that were unexpected including structural flaws and water line leaks. Thanks to his team's broad skillset, work ethic, and knowledge a huge amount of work was done in as short of a time as possible. Tim was also helpful in suggesting options to save time and money on the project by me bringing in side labor apart from his team's work. The house was torn up for this project, making their commitment to getting the job done correctly while also dedicating 100% of their time to my job was invaluable. Projects like these where the amount of work is unknown leaves the homeowner vulnerable to being soaked on cost, work that is incomplete, or a project schedule that drags on and on. I found Tim to be very reasonable in setting expectations as best he could, getting us to a solution, and finding a fair way to set his prices so his team wasn't working for free and I wasn't overpaying. read more

The project went very smooth. Tim was the only one that brought up points that other contractors did not. 1. The window I already had was too close to an electric panel. Most contractors want to charge a lot extra to block it in to move new egress window over. Tim did not and said it would not be a big deal. 2. Had many good reasons why I should go with a slider for my particular situation. 3. Estimate received did not just had a price but listed the work to be done properly. Too many contractors skip the details. 4. One of the only contractors that would dig all the way to the footing. Most just dig a hole with a post hole digger for the drain and cut corners. The project had to be rescheduled a couple times but that all was smooth. Brandon, John and crew arrived on the start date and you could tell right away they had a smooth process for installing egress windows. No damage to the lawn because they lay boards down to protect it. Brandon addressed my concerns about the drain and after discussing with him I felt much more comfortable having a better understanding of it. Great communication. They were neat and tidy in the house. I had no idea what to expect having a hole cut in my foundation wall. However, it was suprisingly not that messy. All flashing details with the window were done properly. No complaints I would hire again. In a few years I will be calling about my garage floor. read more

We live in an old 1900 home with a stone basement. ABS came in and cleaned the stone foundation, removed old wood walls to expose the foundation and added new mortar. The big job was done in a timely and in an exceptionally professional fashion. The crew was friendly, answered all of my questions and were kind to my young kids zoom-schooling from home and tolerated my very friendly and curious dog. Be pepared that if Bruce Springsteen comes on the radio, you will hear the crew singing along. read more

Go elsewhere! This company is incredibly irresponsible. The owner Tim Case Shows up not wearing a mask. Because I was smoking I kept my distance and he left his work bag in the driveway. As I walked 10 feet behind him I thought he was going to put on his mask but he walked right past his work bag and proceeded to look at the foundation of the house. When I asked if he was concerned about his health he asked me why I asked that question. I said "why are you not wearing a mask quote? His response was "well we're all going to die of something "Are you fucking kidding me? How dare you jeopardize other peoples health buy being so irresponsible !!! Then he goes on to say that he visits five houses a day. So that leads me to believe he's possibly infecting other people. Then when I call the company, I get the secretary and explain the situation. She goes on to say that they are not required to wear one! What kind of bullshit company is this? ABS floated(?) the floor around half of the basement and put in the wall covering in my home 11 years ago.They also had to put up bar supports that extend through the wall to the neighbors driveway. A previous contractor almost caved in the basement sidewall Have had no problems with it since. Just bought the house 12 doors down and being we are on the canal I will be needing them for this house as well.
