The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. I also ordered a Heavenly Hash (one of my favorite ice cream flavors BTW) and a Naughty and Nice because I am all about the classics. They were both outstanding. No leftovers. The flavor profile for the ingredients are a bit out there but it worked harmoniously together. So you must be wondering what that one dish I tried at the Seedling Truck is? The one and only item I got was the polenta cake with poached egg and kale pesto and goat cheese -- doesn't that sound so "Top Chef" like? Seriously, you can't ever go wrong with egg yolk oozing all over your food and the kale pesto was absolutely delicious and helped tie the goat cheese with the rest of the dish. The only downside was probably, unfortunately, the under-cooked egg. If it could have been poached for a few more seconds, it would have been perfection. Next time I visit Austin, this food truck will be a top priority on my list! I can't even imagine what kind of surprises are packed in their menu.
