I was happy to stumble in upon this place. I originally came here for the grand opening, but they were not up on the Yelp App yet. I recently made a return, and it's still the same good food i I tasted before. The food is really good. I got the jerk chicken salad the first time I came, and it was delicious. This time around, I got the jerk chicken and rice plate. It was pricey, but the quality was there. So I wasn't mad. There are no tables to dine in. Have to buy and go, but im fine with that. The fact that I could get halal food inside of a restaurant that's clean and not a truck with a little Caribbean spin on it was a great idea to have. I will always make a return when I'm in the area. Pretty good food. I ordered through DD because they had a BOGO special going on and based on other reviews it was a go. DD took very long to pick this up but no fault of the eatery. Regardless, when it finally did reach, plates were hefty and the mixed chicken and lamb was very good. The Rice was a little dry but I'm not sure of it was because of DD issue finding a driver or not. We ordered 4 plates, 2 free and pita bread as well. I'm from NYC and I'm used to the street carts where the sauce is plentiful. I ordered white sauce and BBQ sauce and the BBQ outweighed the white by far. I usually get more white sauce then anything but next time I'll order extra white sauce. Good, large portions and tasty food. I will try this again. read more

I ordered take out from here after seeing an Instagram post about the restaurant and food. Overall, the food was average at best. Even the jerk chicken which I had high hopes for was not up to expectations. The zinger sandwich which came highly recommended was also very dry. I wish I had a better experience, but really can't go higher than 3/5. That being said, you should definitely give them a try and see if your experience is any better! You have to balance out the meal with a salad. There was no diet coke lol. I couldn't even eat it. My wife got it and couldn't even finish it. She said the same thing as me, it is a great salad with great ingredients. That's going to be my steady meal here. It's tasty and healthy. The hot wings have great flavor and enough spice. My kids who are 12, 10, and 4 ate them and devoured the fries. After a few, the heat did catch up to them but they did enjoy them. Again, I can see me ordering these on a game day without a doubt. I tried the loaded fries with jerk chicken. It was so delicious. I had it with white sauce and the orange spicy sauce on the side. They definitely marinate their chicken because every bite was so flavorful. It was 11$ and change and loaded enough to share; I couldn't eat it all. Will definitely come back and try something else. So there's a hype... but unfortunately it's not all that. The service there is great. Staff is polite and lively but the food doesn't deliver the hit you expect. It's very expensive and upcharges on so many things that make no sense. Salads are not at all worth it. Sauces are really thick rather then that known runny texture you'd normally get at a Halal stand. Jerk is okay. Very char like taste so rather then flavor you get more over char taste n flavor. The avocado fries were horrible. They were super hard and poorly seasoned. You can tell they just used any avocado they had. To me quality is everything. For what it all cost not worth the trip.
