A coworker kept telling me to try this place, so I finally ordered through Uber Eats and I honestly regret for waiting this long. I love tacos in general, but this was my first time ever having birria tacos and I get the obsession now. The beef was so soft it basically fell apart, full of flavor, and not greasy at all. And the consomé... It was an experience. Dipping the tacos into it made the whole thing next level. Every bite just kept getting better. This combo has officially become my new comfort food. I used to love this truck. I remember when it first landed in the Bronx. I couldn't even write a review because it wasn't even on the Yelp page. Only other location trucks. When I first tried the food I was very impressed. The flavors were hitting, and that warm cup of broth with the shredded meat inside was all so yummy. The guys who worked the truck were pleasant as well. I would get extra sauces and onions free with no problem. Now after purchasing many tacos, tostadas, and the consommé, I'm just not crazy about the beef. It's too fatty for me. I think it needs to be trimmed more. It's my preference. I don't like to eat any chunks of fat and lately when I've visited that's what I've been receiving. Husbando and I came here to pick up some din before heading home. I've only had birria tacos from their Queens truck and they've never disappointed. I was excited to try out the Bx loc. We ordered through their website, sat in our car and waited for the notification that our food was ready. I appreciate that option because it was late and the area isn't the greatest. I'd prefer waiting in my car so I can just pop out, grab my food and skidaddle, or even better, order on the way, pick up my food and head back home. The food was ready pretty quickly. There was no long line. There were some people who just picked up their food and left. It seems everyone pretty much orders ahead. We received the notification that our order was ready but when I went to the truck there was some confusion. I went tot he pickup window and was directed to the order window and again redirected back to the pickup window. They hadn't packed my food and said it would take a few minutes. They finally got it together, handed me my order and we headed home. Everything was packed with care, save for the sauces. Those tipped over and some spilled out of the closed containers. It's wasn't that big of a mess and was mostly contained. The food was still warm and it tasted really good - brought me back to our stops in Queens any time we flew back to LGA when on vacay. I ordered a variety sit hat we could try everything. Birria Tacos - full of meat and saucy. They're so good and I've never had any that taste as good as these. Quesadilla - these are packed as well and super messy. They're a vibe. Tostada - these were actually better than the ones I've had in Queens. It could be that I was in withdrawal but they were very good. Consomme - you can't order from them without getting the consomme. They definitely don't skimp on the meat either. It's such a rich broth with tender pieces of beef. They sent us some spicy salsa and pickled red onions. I wished that I remembered to ask for extra onions. They're so good with everything. Birria Landia is great. It is great in Jackson Heights and it is great in the Bronx. Things you should know: Consome is not optional. The tacos and the tosadas and the Quesdillas are great. But you need the liquid to understand this experience. People who opt out are like the people who go to the "X" spot and order something different. This spot is amazing. I recently ordered from here and i got two of everything. Two consomes. Two tacos. Two quesdillas. Two tosadas. Two Tamarindo jarritos. The meat was incredible and seasoned perfectly. It was tender. The consome and tacos are a must try HOWEVER, the tostada was out of this world. I did not expect so much flavor. The tostada is a crispy tortilla (which was still crispy after delivery) with refried beans, birria meat and melted cheese. So amazing so delicious and fresh. The quesdillas is filling. Its two tortillas filled with cheese and meat. The tacos are filled with meat and topped with fresh cilantro and onions. The consome has a deep flavor and has a bunch of meat pieces in it which was amazing. I cannot wait to get some more food from here. Im such a queens girl that I always recommended the queens location to my bf. I was scrolling through the Uber eats app one day and I told my bf he finally gets to try it! Everything tasted soooo good!! Exactly how the queens truck does. Only thing I wish was that I would have put my order as priority cause the tortilla did come a bit soggy.
