We saw…read morea sign describing the food as "Afghan-French fusion with a Persian accent" and figured we'd give it a shot. It was the best decision of the night. The whole vibe was great and the meals were absolutely incredible. Since neither of us had been there before, Patty made some phenomenal suggestions, and somehow anticipated everything we needed before we even asked. She was a gem, and so patient and knowledgeable about everything in the menu. (Appetizer) Bolani: You have to get this. It's this crispy, golden fried dough filled with seasoned potatoes and herbs. It comes with a jalapeño chutney that is SO flavorful. Honestly, the menu description doesn't even do it justice, it's delicious. (Entree) Kabul Alfredo: I went with this for my main. It's basically the best of both worlds, its a linguine with garlic, creamy Alfredo, amd shaved parm, but topped with Afghan chicken kabob. The chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned. I am SO glad we found Setaara, we'd originally tried to grab a quick burger at a hotel restaurant after a work event, but we were completely ignored there, so we just walked out and walked down the street looking for something open. The whole vibe was great, and our meals were absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be back!!!

We went for their brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Disclaimer they do not serve any main course items for lunch hours too. The ambiance was beautiful and picturesque. The staff was super sweet. We ordered bolani which was ok ish but the chutney was delicious, chole puri - chole were delicious and puri was crispy but yum, the third thing we ordered was an omelette that tasted yum too. They even served fresh juice. We had pomegranate and orange juice. The ambiance was so good and birds were chirping and it felt like we were sitting in a courtyard of someone's home.

Glad I ate it before leaving because the bread was getting soggy. It had great flavor though, with some bbq sauce added. We wanted the ribs but they weren't quite ready at the time (3:00). So we got salmon instead with the smackin cheese and yams to go. Not too big of a fan of the yams, it had apples or peaches on it & not used to that. It wasn't horrible but I'd rather my yams as just yams. The owner gave me a banana pudding to try which was really nice. I enjoyed that too and I'm usually not a fan of banana pudding. I'd def recommend if you're visiting Atlantic City and want some good souls food! He also had breakfast we didn't get to try but the menu sounded good.

WHOA...Holy Cow. No one else was in the restaurant and a young lady was at the register. As soon as I walked up, the young lady bent over and put her head on the cash register like she was light-headed. I waited about 30 (LONG) seconds. And I asked her if she was alright. No response? I then said "Hello." No response. An older guy (probably the owner) was standing down the line, maybe 20 feet. I waited again, everyone there was just standing staring into space. FINALLY, the older guy comes over and asks, "What do you want." Well, I would like to order Fried Chicken. This man was lost...in his own business. The Young Lady without realizing my existence then walks from behind the counter and sits in a chair again burying her head in her arms and putting her head in the corner. I am still being polite, we are now between 5-7 minutes of this experience. I replied to the Owner I would like 8 pieces of chicken. He told me it would be ten minutes. Ok, fresh chicken. Within maybe 30 seconds he comes from the back with the chicken. He begins to look up at their signage and he cannot figure out how much the chicken costs. The cash register is right in front of him. He yells to the odd girl to ring up the chicken, in which she SCREAMS, "What do you want me to ring up!" There is now another customer in the store. We share glances like what is going on here? I now have had enough. I said what do you mean what does he want you to ring up? I told you my order 4-5 times in which you didn't even have the courtesy to even acknowledge me." I turn to the guy who I think is the owner. I asked him if she was sick. The customer who I was trading glances with then said to me, "She isn't sick she's on something." Well, I don't come from that life. Finally, easily after 10 or so minutes of going through this bullshit, I told the older guy to keep his chicken. I told him flat out. "if this isn't your daughter, FIRE HER NOW" and to "protect his family and NEW BUSINESS, FIRE HER NOW." I have never said that in any business. Never. I just could not fathom how any new business would put their future at such a high risk. TERRIBLE!!!

The Turkish bread is so fluffy with a great crust. Friend got the spinach pie and it was so fresh and warm. Everyone got falafel or the chicken. Absolutely obsessed and we will be back again. Well, I always went for the chicken because I don't need to worry about non-meat options but the food was always really really good. One other consistency was the service! The team at Royal Grill 37, which always seems to be busy, is ALWAYS customer-focused and friendly!! For some reason it has been awhile since my daughter suggested Royal Grill 37 and I didn't know why but there are lots of options for take-out in the area but I was going to be in the area by myself and I wanted something good to eat so I called Royal Grill 37 and ordered my favorite. Chicken over Rice with extra white sauce. I walked into the small storefront restaurant that gave off a nice positive energy. Yes, I felt very welcome and that friendly team was friendly just like they always have been. They handed me the 'heavy bag' because you always get a lot of food at Royal Grill 37. But when I opened the container to enjoy my solo dinner it was ugh ... the food was not tasty and the amount of chicken was minimal on top of a big pile of rice. The side salad was ok. But it really didn't taste very good ... yes, I know I could add the tasty white sauce but that would merely hide the fact that the chicken wasn't very good. When I talked to my daughter later she said that they had stopped going there because the taste just wasn't what it used to be. Not sure what happened .... GREAT SERVICE ... LOTS OF FOOD ... REASONABLE PRICE ... but ugh, I don't think I will go back.
