The salon is large, cute and clean and really easy to find. Both Paula and Sonia worked with me for 6 hours to get my cut, color and chemical strengthening done and not once did I feel uncomfortable. They were accommodating, and up front about the process. The consultation I had from Paula was top notch. She's not here to upsell you but rather wants what's best for you. She knows her stuff! Due to the short pieces at the top of my head that stick straight up, I've had my hair in a ponytail all day as leaving the house with my hair down would look ridiculous. Unfortunately, I've come to find that even in a ponytail, there are patches of 1 - 2 inch strands that stick straight out of the sides of my head. Since I can't wear my hair up now, I will be wearing hats for the next six months while this grows out. This is beyond upsetting and so embarrassing that even a ponytail can't hide this hack job. I've never experienced anything like this. It looks like my 2 year old took scissors to my hair.

What better way to welcome change than to get rid of the old hairstyle and take on a new look. Definitely need some getting used to, but I'm totally digging this color: Medium Neutral Ash; along with my new chopped hair: Drastic V-Line Bob. Overall look is great and feels great. Yet again, Maya has steered me in the right direction. After what feels like over a decade, Maya seems to know what I want and need more than I know myself. Whenever I'm indecisive or uncertain, she knows and she's right. This obviously comes from years and years of experience. During all my visits, including this one, I always felt good and happy knowing that she genuinely cares for my benefits. Yes, money is a factor as we all need to hustle and bustle to make a living in this crazy expensive state, but truly, her motives are not entirely geared towards that. It takes a lot of planning and commitment to make sure not to damage my hair even more so than they already are. She really looks out for the best interests of her clients, foremost than her own. The color was not the same, the style was uneven, and my hair ended up damaged. I paid almost $400 for this service, expecting professional results, but the quality did not match the price at all. At the very least, I would have appreciated honesty if the desired result was not achievable. I left feeling very unhappy with the service, and now my hair needs repair. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves their services. (By the way Amber Lopez is the one who dyed my hair.)

Kevin has given my son good haircuts before, but unfortunately he had a long line that day and we were sent to another stylist (an older gentleman). Despite clearly showing a reference photo and explaining what we wanted, my son's hair was cut way too short and completely ruined. When I politely mentioned that it was shorter than requested, he became visibly irritated instead of trying to fix it or acknowledge the concern. Paying $24 for this result was extremely frustrating. I genuinely don't understand how this place has a 4.3-star rating. The quality is very inconsistent--if you get Kevin, you're probably fine, but based on our experience, the rest of the staff does not meet the same standard. I would not trust the reviews and won't be coming back.
