Worst salon experience EVER. Hair was butchered TWICE in maybe a week, and i was threatened with…read morepolice by the owner. If you're blonde, or light DO NOT go to Jenny or Lily. i came into the salon to get my medium brown roots touched up to match my platinum blonde hair. I had an appointment with Lily and left with yellow, uneven roots, and pretty intense banding especially around my hairline. I then contacted the salon by phone and had no response for 3 phone calls. I live nearby so i drove over. I definitely was upset and had an attitude but even from the start i was just trying to kinda laugh through it and i had a very aggressive worker named i believe John (who is not a colorist) continuously tell me me what my hair needs, as well as say to me "they aren't just gonna give you a refund because you don't like your hair now." and after some choice words on both ends i was told to not come back. I then left obviously, got a text from Jenny to fix it (even though i just wanted a refund) and came in the next day to fix it. Jenny did a much better job, but not a good one. The color i was left with was this pastel yellow roots and banding, as well as uneven from front to back. I do also believe my hair was styled to conceal the banding and unevenness. I texted and called to no response for days. I bought a red ken purple shampoo and conditioner (which i was also later recommended to get a purple shampoo to "fix the fixed hair" and the shampoo definitely didn't take well to the roots, obviously not their fault, but you can visibly see the levels of blonde are different (rest of photos) especially towards and front and sideburns. the salon was closed until tuesday (it's currently thursday) and after calling yesterday 10 times due to no one responding to a single call or text message, as well as the door being locked at 11am when they are open from 10-5 with no explanation. (i believe the number is automated for texts) I finally got a call back today where i was told i could either have them tone it, dye my roots back to my brown color also done by them, or i could essentially just forget about it. I was also told by the owner that I was harassing them, and that a police officer client was there while i was calling (yet they still couldn't answer) and told them it was harassment. So not only essentially threatening me with that, saying they had it all on cameras and body also felt like a threat so now i can't go back in the owner also blurted out she'd refund only my tip and then she hung up on me and refused to answer the phone afterwards. I was beyond willing to work with them, and even gave them a second chance but why would i go back to have them fix it when they've screwed it up 2 times?? BEYONDDDDD unprofessional.

I made my appointment online through the style app which was convenient for a mom on the go chasing 3 boys all over the place. I scheduled to have my hair cut and colored by Joy. I tried to explain what I wanted my hair to look like, a task that's harder then you would think. She got it and OMG did my hair look amazing. My total came to $104 which was not a bad price for all that had to be done. I think I've found my new hair salon. If you make an appointment tell them Jen W sent you!

When I told her I was coming out to visit, she said she already had an appointment lined up but it was unfortunately for after I was going to be leaving. We called Tyler and he was super accommodating! He bumped up her appointment by a few days AND was able to get me in too. He is so much fun, easy to talk to, and oh so talented. I was unsure about having someone do my hair because I always go with fun colors and my mom has pretty easy hair to maintain as she keeps her natural color, but I am so glad I took her advice. Tyler took his time and clearly really cares about his clients. The salon itself has a fun environment in a reconverted house type building in beautiful downtown Westminster. I have had such a difficult time finding a hair stylist that was able to cut my hair the way I envisioned. My search is over!!! I wish I had found this place sooner! The woman who cut my hair, who I believe is the owner (?), was so sweet and efficient. I wish I asked for her name but she was wonderful! Her assistant was also very kind and I found them to be a great team! The owner asked what I wanted and for inspiration photos, which I had ready. She then asked several other questions based on what I said I wanted and the photos I showed her. I wanted face framing layers, a V-cut on the back of my hair, and some bang styling that was appropriate for my face shape. From sitting down, to walking out the door, my haircut took only 40-45 mins! AMAZING! I feel like I have a lot of hair and I wanted layers so I was impressed by how efficiently everything was done, including the washing of my hair & curling after! I also found the price to be very fair and reasonable for what my end-product was with my hair. I highly recommend ON:U if you are in the search for a women's haircut!!! Seriously such an amazing experience ‍ P.S. If you'd like to tip the assistant, please bring cash! I didn't know this beforehand and I felt bad when I left because I don't carry cash on me. But very sweet people!!
