Unfortunately I had worked a very long shift before my appt so I was extremely tired, and opted out of a blow dry because I was just ready to go home and pass out. Anyway, she told me that since we weren't blow drying we wouldn't see the true color, so if I got home and decided once it had dried that I wanted any changes done, to just give her a call. So this was my fault for opting out of a blow dry, but seeing that I'm superrrr pale and added a dark violet, I'm feeling like I need just a littttlleee more blonde just to soften/lighten it up a bit. I called and explained that it looks great and she did exactly what I wanted, I just need like maybe 4 or 5 more highlights in to brighten it, and that I would prefer to do it with Sarah again because she did such a great job. They were totally cool/understanding about it, and I scheduled an appt this week with Sarah so we can touch it up. Another good thing is that normally when you go to the salon for one thing, they try to add on all of this extra crap and make you think you need it. That being said, I told her I wanted a tiny trim just to help my hair grow faster because I'm trying to grow it back out after I made an impulsive decision and had 9 inches cut off over the summer. After working with my hair a bit she explained she'd be more than happy to do the trim, but my hair wasn't showing any signs of split ends/breakage & appeared to be growing healthily. In my experience, they will give you tips and advice for managing your new look- as well as an estimate for when your next appointment should be. It is important you know what style you want before you go however, as you may need a consultation if you don't. That is a separate product/appointment that they offer. When we got there, we agreed immediately and were taken care of fabulously by the staff. I also got an additional treatment where I got my eyebrows waxed, and my waxer was incredibly professional and very sweet. We had a wonderful conversation. The overall studio is exceptionally, relaxing and comfortable. There is seating available for a variety of body types, and I found the facilities to be accessible, as someone who is walking with a cane.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. I scheduled a balayage and face-framing layers…read morewith Julianna two months in advance after a consultation where I showed inspiration photos and was assured my desired results were achievable. On the day of my appointment, we reviewed the plan again and I was told it would take about 4-5 hours. Instead, the service took 7 hours and extended past closing time. The haircut I requested was never completed. only a minimal trim was done. From the front, my hair looked similar to how it did before the appointment, but I wasn't shown the back before leaving. Once I got home, I realized the results were far from what I had requested and not properly blended AT ALL. The balayage was not done, the color was the same tone I had walked in there with originally, and the haircut was never completed. I contacted the salon the next day, and they agreed to fix it. However, communication throughout the process was very poor. Each time I called, staff seemed unaware of my situation and attempted to schedule me for times that conflicted with arrangements already discussed. Because my hair was already compromised, I repeatedly requested a different stylist who specialized in color correction. Despite asking multiple times, they initially kept trying to assign me to the same stylist. After 3-4 requests, I was finally assigned someone else. They assigned me to Kat and I was told she would contact me on a specific day to schedule, but she did not. When she eventually reached out later than promised, she said she would move another client to fit me in and follow up to confirm; however, she never did. I waited a full week for the appointment she had mentioned and ultimately had to call the salon myself. Throughout this entire time, I did not feel comfortable wearing my hair out due to how bad the results were, but I remained patient because they had agreed to fix it. I was also repeatedly asked to adjust my schedule or call off work to come in on their availability for their mistake, despite clearly explaining multiple times that my original appointment was booked on my day off and I needed the same accommodation. At the end of my initial visit, I paid $450 including tip for results that were not what was discussed. I also tipped at the time of service, based on their assurances that any issues would be taken care of and corrected. After about three weeks of trying to resolve the situation, I was only refunded for the service which was $380, not the tip. By that point, I had to go elsewhere and pay significantly more for a full color correction. something this salon was responsible for plus also pay and tip another stylist. While the staff was polite, the lack of communication, failure to follow through, and overall handling of the situation made this a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not return or recommend this salon based on my experience.
