I never used any of the services other than having my hair dyed once, and it was so long ago I can't remember how much it cost--next time I go home I'll check. But they have a full range of services, including nails and massage. My favorite stylist is Sherri Wagaman. She is sweet, efficient, and always gives a great cut. Her husband Ed's talents are famous (in a small town way), so he is always booked. If Sherri is booked I'll ask for Liz, who has done my hair a few times, including for prom and before I went to Mexico on vacation--I made the mistake of getting that one professional dye job and the sun, sand, and surf stripped the color out of my hair in 3 days. Liz is the youngest in the salon and her take on hair is a little edgier--she'd do well in DC! Now that I have a wonderful hairdresser in DC I don't really get my hair done at home anymore--but you never know when you'll need an emergency fix, and it is good to know they are there!

Despite the fact that I had booked my appointment as a hair cut (and was willing to pay for that and not just a bang trim), and had 2-day unwashed hair that had been up in a bun, the stylist did not shampoo me before cutting. So my hair was not laying correctly to be cut evenly. When I got home I washed and dried my hair and my bangs are completely uneven. Given the facility I don't feel confident somebody else could fix them if I went back, either. Regarding the manicure - again the facilties and equipment appear old and unclean. My cuticles were not cut back at all, my nails were not filed or buffed, there was no lotion or massage. It was simply paint, which was done poorly. It is over my cuticles and the ends of the nails were not painted, so as soon as I washed my hands the polish already began to chop and peel. Don't go here if you expect any level of service or quality.

In November, I went to the salon to get a color correction. Prior to the service, Vicki asked for…read morepictures of my current hair and what I wanted to achieve. We discussed my desired outcome without any issues. I wanted to remove the red from my hair and blend my salt and pepper roots throughout the rest of my hair. Vicki showed me some gray Artic Fox dyes that she thought would blend nicely. I trusted her expertise, and we went for it. The bleaching process seemed to go well, and Vicki was very pleased with the lightening. The coloring process also went smoothly, and my naturally curly hair looked great when I left. However, I was surprised that she never offered to trim my hair or even mention it at all. I liked the color result and immediately posted a positive review on Google. After I got home, my scalp at the base of my neck was burning. I touched the area and found patches of dried bleach on my scalp and in my hair. I removed as much of it as possible to prevent any further chemical burns that I had suffered. But once I washed my hair completely, the texture of it became terrible. It felt frayed and knotted like broom bristles. I had never experienced this, even after having my hair bleached once before, six years ago. Even after buying Olaplex shampoo & conditioner for blonde/gray and extreme moisturizing conditioner that is intended for ethnic hair, after five months, my hair still feels extremely dry, brittle and knotty. My first and last visit to Vicki's salon was so NOT worth the $400 she charged for some chemical burns and ruined hair. It was blatantly clear that I did not pay for her "expertise". One month after having the unfortunate experience at Victoria's Beauty Salon, I decided to visit another salon to get a trim. The stylist, who had over 20 years of experience, informed me that my hair had been ruined due to the use of low-quality hair products and incorrect bleaching/developer protocol by the previous stylist, Vicki. Fortunately, the new stylist provided me with some helpful tips to restore my hair to its original health.
