Great Service! Haircut and Shave was Superb! Absolutely Flawless steam shave. With a few 'Cowlicks' and my fine hair I'm not usually a good first-time customer for a barber Although not my 1st haircut @EPatrickStBarber it was my 1st haircut and beard trim with the back corner guy. No matter... I thought he knocked one out of the Park!!! 5 I'd have given 6* if they'd have the TPC in Texas on the TV read more

The first time I went there, I asked the barber if he could keep the haircut from being too short. I left a review saying the cut was definitely poor workmanship. They left me with a bald spot on the back of my head, and it's clearly noticeable. I even called them because I didn't get any response. I asked for a refund, but he just hung up on me. read more

I drive an hour to come here. Nothing close in loudoun co va. Friendly, quick and rarely have to wait. Friendly Hispanic dudes that know how to give a great fade. read more

Great quality cuts. Clean place, friendly people. Just what I need for my local barber. I'm staying a regular.

Asked for a medium fade and gave me a high skin, i had to go back inside to get the top cut as well. Worst haircut possible imo

I called and talked to the owner about what I wanted. He consulted with me, passed the information to his barbers and I tweaked it a bit with my barber and it turned out great! I even got a call from the owner afterwards. I'll be back in a few weeks. read more

Place is fully staffed, clean, and crew is real layback. Cuts are detailed and clean. Highly recommend them read more

Never again. My elderly father was treated shabbily here. Twice! He was pushed off on some inexperienced barber (who did NOT have a license, and this was verified by the business). A blind person could have given a better cut. Still, we gave the business another shot. We made an appointment with David, the owner. Yet, when we got him over there, my dad, who regularly went to him at his former location, was brushed aside and made to wait for "a regular". This review is written on Memorial Day. Don't let the American flag on the wall of this establishment fool you. My World War 2, multiple Purple Heart recipient fathers, was NOT treated with respect. Be prepared to hunt for parking and come prepared to feed the meters if you go to this place. The service is horrible as are the cuts. Treat the greatest generation better! read more

If you want a haircut to look nothing like the inspiration picture come here. I showed the guy who cut my hair a picture of what I wanted, he said he could do it. I was turned away from the mirror so I couldn't see it until the end. And it turned out looking absolutely nothing nothing like what I wanted. Absolutely awful experienc. I would rate the place 0 stars if possibl. read more

although they take walk ins, I made an appointment and was seen on time. I really like like a razor back of neck shave which they do in this shop. Very hard to find a barber that in competent with a razor and takes the time to use one for neck trim. read more

This is a great barbershop. I came in today for a cut and every seat was taken. I only waited a few minutes and got a very quick cut that was great. $21 for a cut was great as well. read more

**Update** Too bad you can't reply to the comments; however, I can edit my original review to answer the business owner that has gracefully responded to my review. David: Your response is not typical to a sound business owner; take a moment to review your employee's practice to ensure your customers are getting their money's worth. Did you not see the pictures? How about pretending that you care and posting a sincere apology? To be clear, I have 21 reviews total with 8 Five stars, 1 four stars, 1 three stars, 1 two stars, and 11one star reviews to include the one for your establishment. Your count was just a little off. A picture is worth a thousand words, and I have posted five to show the final product. They may stand up in a court of law. As I said in my original review; not going back again. Not even to get my money back. Original Review: $75+ tip later, we got the worst haircuts ever! Uneven fades, uneven hair lengths, asked for a skin fade, and got a size one. My number 2 son asked for a low skin fade and got a high fade with a funky southside fade looking top. I would've done a better job cutting my kids' hair versus these "licensed professionals." I didn't complain because there was only one other barber available, and it seems no one wanted him to cut their hair. Cut my losses; it cost me $75 to find a place I never want to return to or recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. The prices they charge are ridiculous for the amateur service they provide. read more

Wonderful service, always happy with the attention to detail the barbers provide. Highly recommend this location.

First time customer and I've found my new home for haircuts. Luis did a fantastic job with great attention to detail. Highly recommend if you're looking for more than just a simple haircut! read more

Worst Haircut I ever gotten in 35 years of my life. I went there 35 minutes before they close as walk in. Not sure the so called barber David was pissed off or not; his tone was that he was not interested to give haircut. He has no clue of haircut. I showed him a picture of my previous haircut and he keep disagreeing with what I got done in my picture. I end up just saying; just match picture please and he literally did opposite of the picture. Never freaking going back to that dump. No sense of customer service and no sense of COVID 19 cleaning. read more

Great customer service and work! My husband was able to walk in and get seen right away.

Amazing barbers but the last three times I've been there they have upped the price $5 each. Started at $35 for a cut and shave, then $40, and just went today and they charged me $45. What the heck kind of business do they expect to keep when they can't even be honest about prices. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Wonderful, quick service! We just moved to Jefferson from Fort Worth, TX and have been looking for a new barber for my husband. Previously, we would've had to book a barber in advance and the cut would take 60+ minutes. My husband did not have an appointment, and we were able to walk in and get a haircut (single blade!) And walk out within 20 minutes! And the price was MUCH more reasonable than my husband's barber in TX. We highly recommend this barbershop and will be back! read more

Bunch of fun loving guys just here to cut hair. It's a pretty bare bones shop but they take their time cutting your hair and try their best to give you what you want. Very friendly. Downside is limited parking in the immediate area on the street. Easy to walk to. read more

Don't know if it was my skin color or tattoos covering my arms but it was something. Came in sat for 10 mins noticed 2 chairs were open not once in that time period did any of the men address me. I got up asked if I could get my haircut man in the first chair just locked at me and went back to cleaning his station. So I left. So I learned a lesson that day that a person like me isn't wanted in that establishment read more

Fantastic hair cut and beard trim at a bargain price. I had a poor haircut several years ago, assuming this is the same place that was on the north side of East Patrick, but current barbers all appeared to be outstanding. I'll be a regular now. read more

The haircuts are great and they have friendly service. Depending when you go you might have to pay for parkin. I'm not sure if there is free parking near them. Although their website states skip the line and pay $25, that is not the case. If you make an appointment they charge you $5 more from what the owner told me over the phone when I disputed the amount charged to my card. I believe there is an additional $1.50 charge if you pay by car, so it's better to pay by cash. Other than those nuisances that the owner seems to be aware of and doesn't mind not fixing it, the haircuts there are good. Don't expect a refund of $5 because you were unaware to the owner's fault. read more

Great hair cut and in a fantastic space. Staff are very courteous as well as took great detail in my cut. I was way over due and they did a fantastic job taming the jungle. Parking is easy, as well as neighborhood is welcoming. I definitely plan to return as a regular!! read more

WORST haircut I have ever gotten in my entire life!!!! Do not go to the guy in the right corner, he pushed my hairline back to mars smhh. Then they try to tell me how my own hairline was supposed to be and gonna try to act dumb when he messed my cut up. If you go to these guys as black guy with a tapered hairline do not go Trust me. read more

Very disappointed in quality of cut I got yesterday. I asked multiple times to keep my length of hair on top as long as possible. Showed several pics of a disconnected undercut with long top. Barber cut it very short... No length kept, at all. Go somewhere else. Damage was done and I'm stuck with a crappy cut. Oh, and the rate... Somehow, my cut was $30+tip, and the other guy who left before me with a similar cut cost $25. read more

I was overcharged, they charged me $31 instead of $25. The person cutting my hair didn't listen, he cut it way too far up away from the ear so now I have to wear a hat until it grows back read more

I always get a good haircut and the barbers are great! Easy to walk-in most days and they also take appointments.

Pros: Fast professional service, and I got a really nice haircut. Cons: They charged way more than the stated price on their menu and they asked me if I had head lice. WHAT?!?!? So yeah like I said, East Patrick Barber gave me a really good haircut, which is impressive because I'm the kind of person that has no idea how to ask for a good haircut. 10/10 haircut all the way! But here's the weird part. I went in, sat down in the chair, and the manager(?) came out and asked me if I had head lice. What in the world??? I've never been asked that before in my life. Oh and for the record NO, I DON'T HAVE HEAD LICE. Anyway then I get my hair cut, it looks great, and I go to pay, and I have a $20 bill. I called ahead to ask how much it cost for a men's hair cut and they said $18. I thought to myself "Perfect, I'll have a couple bucks to tip if I come with a $20 bill. Easy peasy." But then they tell me It's going to be $25 (That's an extra $7!) because I have "long hair." I haven't had a haircut in about 2 months and yeah my hair grows fast, but it wasn't THAT long. So an $18 haircut all of the sudden became a $28 haircut ($25 base + $2 tip + $1 debit card fee because I only had $20 in cash on me). Talk about sticker shock. So, in conclusion of this review which I think is a little too long. They give awesome haircuts and for the most part are polite, professional and to the point. I can't complain. I might even go back, except now I'm a little bit apprehensive that I'll get slapped with some other random charges at check out! Or, worse still, I'm gonna think about nits every time I go there now. read more

Barber called me "bald" twice. The haircut was very poor and uneven. I had to fix the haircut when I got home. I will not come back.

I have been there twice. They do a good job. Check their cell phones frequently in the middle of haircuts. I haven't found the Barber Shop for me yet. Note: They Only Accept Cash. Making sure they get their cash tip. You can use their ATM for a fee of course. $12-13 hair cut, $2.50-3.50 fee, $5 tip. Actual price: $19.50-21.50. On average, credit card transaction fees on a $100 charge amount to between $2.50-3.00 (2.5-3.0%). A $13 haircut would be around $0.32-0.39. This is why you should take out $100+ at an ATM, not just the quick $20. You can also go through self checkout at a grocery store, buy a $0.25 pack of gum, and get $100+ cash back with no charge. I'm not a frugal person. I blow money left and right. I have no problem paying $20-30 for a top notch haircut or leaving a $20 Tip. read more

On 5/27/2020 I called to make an appointment (trying to support local and small business) the person who responded my call "the owner"was so rude. I was felling that I was talking with a member of a gang. Very disappointed. It should be zero stars! Not sure how he have a business. read more

Bad bad bad, they cut me everywhere, still bleeding, they asked me for tip, I left a tip, but I'm not coming back, my barber so basic the owner was like first time here ? Yeah I'm not coming back thanks read more

I just haft to say if the barber can't speak English his probably gonna mess up your haircut. I've been there a few times and still mess up a basic haircut. They need to do better with who they hire. I offered the guy to not do the haircut if he wasn't confident in doing it but still did and still messed it up. Horrible job but still tipped his goofy ass self. read more

Update: So for some reason I kept coming back - and I'm glad I did. Whether staff shifted or I actually learned how to ask for exactly what I wanted (or both), I don't know. All I know is now I can trust to get a great haircut for an amazing price. And the barbers are amazingly nice people, too. It's a great place. Old Review: I've given this place 5 tries. Twice, I had a great experience. The other three were the exact opposite. Nice people, but horrible haircuts. One, I even had to return to have them fix. My haircuts are simple, my requests routine. And yet, some of the people here just didn't seem to be able to do the basics (even getting tips and advice from other barbers there). Maybe I've just been unlucky and gotten trainees each time? I don't know. I DO know I shall never return. read more
