I'd been struggling to find a good Barber for a while now (+5 years?). I tried 5 different Barbers in Hagerstown, all of them could do a close cut no problem. However, every time I would grow out my hair, and them ask them to keep the fro, but clean it up and make me look good, they would mess it up. It got to the point where I started thinking maybe I was asking for something that didn't exist... Anyway, I decided to give Tailor Made Cuts a try. I walked in with my fro (I'd been avoiding getting it cut cause of the previous disappointments), and showed them a picture and said this is what I'm looking for. The Barber said no problem, and shortly later he was done. I looked in the mirror, and was like wow, this is the best cut I've had in 10 years, no lie. if you want your average close cut, go anywhere, but if you want something more then that, see Tailor Made Cuts. As we all know, going to a new barber for the first time is questionable and not being from the area, I was hit with many options... So after checking the spots, pic's of cuts, etc. ... I was like, "I'm hittin TMC." And ... I was NOT disappointed! The Shop: clean, inviting, professional. Check! The Barber: great ppl skills, made me feel like I had been there before. Check! Now .... Ok so let me disclose something here: I HAVE SERIOUS TRUST ISSUES WITH MY HAIR. It's one of the things that I don't settle for "Meh, it's aight. Ok, thanks see you next week." Most barbers know that even if they put in mediocre work, they'll probably see them again as long as you do enough. Nope, not here... This shop is a great shop from a look and feel standpoint. Very clean and music is dope - need not worry about covering the kiddies ears but yet it's got such a grown and sexy feel to it. Really top flight and such a gem. Hands down best in Western MD (can't believe it's in Hagerstown!?!). Everyone's hair game is on fleek. But Jason's is just on another level. Takes his time and is really aware that he is leaving his brand and signature on your hair. There's been numerous times that either my little cub or myself was asked where we got our hair cuts from...yea, it's like that! Which is why I drive all the way here from Frederick/Montgomery counties to get my cut. Nuff said! read more

I was just in there for the first time and it was amazing. I walked in and Immediately felt like one of the guys. I was there when it opened and the other barbers all came over and gave me fist bumps to welcome me and say good morning. The atmosphere was super clean and modern but still somehow had that old time barber shop feel. Everyone had great positive and happy attitudes towards everyone and towards life In general. I will be back and they just earned a life long customer for the experience alone. The cut was great. Nice beard trim and haircut using clippers and scissors . Some straight blade and some nice cooling smell good to finish up. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot if you are need of a great relaxing experience and a great cut and shave . Clean barber shop. Very professional. I wanted a shape up but received a poor hair cut and was charged $40! The guy butchered my hair line.

This shit a$$ I mean it was clean and it looked nice, I got a fade on the sides and back, he did good there but I asked him to trim my top of the head, he didn't wet it or look at how long it was he just started cutting and its all uneven.
