I just feel that she over charges for no reason, I managed to get better results at another place for $300 less than what she charged me. Wow!! Veronica is amazing!! My hair had been colored by a stylist at another salon and it was a disaster! That stylist left me with some horrible grayish color and red hot roots. It was SO bad!! When split ends closed I had lost Veronica's contact information but finally found her and I'm so glad! I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair and I don't know much about hair dyes or products but Veronica definitely breaks down every step and detail. I also have alopecia areata which is when you lose patches of hair and she helps me find the any new patches so I can bring it up at my next dermatologist appointment. It's such a big help! Veronica is absolutely AMAZING. I came to her two years ago. My hair had been friend by a colorist who left the blonde on my hair to long and my hair fried. She was a miracle worker though. She manages to give me a Brazilian blowout and color correct my hair and bring life back to it. I have since then been going to her to get Brazilian blowouts. My hair is extremely curly and being a Marine always slicking back my bun it helps tame my hair and keeps it very manageable. I would recommend Veronica to anyone. In my opinion if a stylist can maintain curly hair, cut curly and help curly hair grow they're worth a try. Having curly hair it's hard to come by a good hair stylist that was deal with ethnic hair. My hair technician went on vaca for quite a while so now with my highlights that she does well, I had to find a new place. The shop that she was working with doesn't have an opening that day or the next day. So I was looking through YELP on has a 'Good reviews' Studio 101 has some great reviews amongst other place. I text to the place and within that day Victoria;) who took my apt the same day was great! Not even that she did great on my already highlight balayage hair and root color. She will not sell you out unlike some and only suggest what's best and up to you. I am very picky and not to make a note on YELP unless I'm totally happy with it. So I will make another appt with Victoria on my next highlight, not to mention she keeps you intertain so thats another star + I'll be back sooner and 5 star. read more

When I first saw Veronica, I hadn't had my hair colored, styled, or cut professionally in several years. I was a relatively new mom and hadn't made time to get my hair done in any way since baby arrived. (I was trimming my own hair with kitchen scissors and the only styling I did involved a scrunchy and a headband. lol. No, seriously.) My mother came out to visit me from NC and wanted to treat me to a nice cut and color. She looked around and after checking the reviews, she picked a salon, booked me an appointment, and before I knew it I was sitting in Veronica's chair telling her to do whatever she thought was best. I am not one to let someone take creative liberties with my appearance, but at that point, I figured it couldn't be worse than what I already had going on. Veronica dyed my hair, covered ALL of that gray, and actually styled my hair, not just cut it. I was weary of a "styled" cut because I did not want to have to put any work into my hair in the mornings. Veronica took that into consideration and gave me a reverse bob with layers and other nifty stuff I can't even name, which sounds like it would take me a lot of work to make look nice, but in reality takes less than five minutes to style but looks like it took hours. Since that first appointment a little over a year ago, I have been back for several formal updos for military balls (which came out PHENOMENAL) and several other appointments for cut and color. I will never go anywhere else. I cannot recommend Veronica and Studio 101 enough. If she can take a girl like me, who literally used to trim her own hair with kitchen shears and had an eternal messy bun, and turn her into someone who styles their hair everyday but in the same amount of time, imagine what she can do for you. She is also hilarious and just an overall sweet person. 10/10! read more
