I met with Stefanie for a trial at my apartment a couple months before my big day. We started by chatting about the feel of the wedding day, my dress, and I showed her some inspiration photos...then we got to work! Not only is she very talented; thoughtful in my requests and accommodating to my feedback, she is a total sweetheart. I enjoyed the process and look, as well as the company. I was so excited to have her join my MOH and I as we prepared for the day. Stefanie met us at our hotel room and it instantly felt like an old friend had arrived. We had a great time and my sister and I looked fantastic! Stefanie worked her magic replicating my look from the trial with ease AND sewed a button back on my dress in a moment of panic just before the start of the festivities. Our hair and makeup held up well into the night, despite jumping and dancing for hours, too! Long story short, Modern Bridal Studio made the whole process, stress-free and effortless...and Stefanie is amazing! I'm so happy and grateful to have had her talents and personality as a part of the big day!

Since I was the only one getting my hair done (my bridesmaids opted to do their own hair and makeup to save having to pay for it themselves), it was hard for me to find a vendor with no minimums. I was fortunate enough to find Stylist to Go who had no minimums, and Carmen, who did my hair trial and my wedding hair, was perfect. Carmen listened to my vision and worked off of my Pinterest board seamlessly. She combined looks together to give me the look that I loved. She pinned my veil to my hair and stayed a little longer after I had gotten into my gown to make sure my veil would stay in place. I was very happy with her services and her attention to detail and my vision. She was friendly and patient, and I could not have asked for anyone better. Would definitely recommend them.

For my wedding, I had Carla contract to do my hair and makeup, hair and makeup for one of my bridesmaids, just makeup for my other two bridesmaids, and the hair and makeup for my mom. And the consensus from everyone was that Carla is a unicorn and is the absolute best. At first, none of us really knew what we wanted to do for bridesmaid makeup, but after just taking a simple look at the theme and everyone's dresses (they were plum), she thought to do a smokier purple makeup. And my goodness, everyone looked BEAUTIFUL. The vibes were off the chart, chill, fun, relaxing, etc. All the right energy for a very otherwise anxiety-filled day. She's calm, she's punctual, she's knowledgeable. She put up my very quick look change and absolutely DELIVERED. And the look stayed on THE WHOLE DAY. As someone who sweats like no tomorrow and had a summer wedding, that was crucial because the later pictures turned out amazing. Thank you, thank you, Carla, for an amazing day and experience. I wouldn't want it any other way.

For the engagement shoot, it was Tiffany personally and I very immediately comfortable with her. She approached the makeup with an understanding and astute sensibility. Her attention to detail is impeccable and I simply loved the way I looked that day. I still looked like "me" but the best version of me. What more could you want? For the wedding, Tiffany herself was unavailable to my disappointment, but she sent a worthy fellow artist named Gabby. I was staying overnight in a hotel with my bridesmaids, one of whom had gotten married the previous year. Imagine our surprise when my bridesmaid bursts out, "Gabby?!" It was the same woman who had done her makeup for her wedding previously and who she had actually recommended to me! It was a twist of fate. Gabby was excellent, and she approaches makeup very carefully, letting you see the process in stages rather than the finished product all at once. This helps you cultivate the look together and get exactly what you want. All in all, a great place for your makeup needs :)

The best part, was I could still tell it was me underneath all that makeup! My Big Fat Greek Wedding Style, I woke up with a big honking zit on the side of my cheek right before the wedding and she was able to flawlessly cover everything up without blinking twice. On my wedding day, it was important that all of my seven bridesmaids and myself were able to each maintain our individual look and personality with our hair and makeup and she was able to work her magic on us with finesses. Our group included many different skin types, ages and races and every single person was pleased with her work. Her services include complimentary airbrushing and false eyelash application which was also pretty fab considering her prices. I am the type of girl whose makeup wipes off within five minutes of application so I was surprised when my makeup lasted the entire day -- through sweat, tears, and all! My highest recommendations.
