In terms of a hair cut, she did great. My hair cut is even, my hair looks healthy and shiny. However, and this could just be me but I felt like she was smacking my head with the brush every time she went to brush it. Going here multiple times with always average and missing the mark experiences... Then stylists are good with men's cuts and shorter Barber cuts. Beatrice will continuously check hair for lice making for an uncomfortable experience. She'll answer the phone, talk to multiple walk-in and argue with workers. She'll keep trying to up sell you until she decides she doesn't have time to blow dry you. Then she cuts too much off even though you asked her not too. She won't cut the very simple curtain bang style you want even after you hold the picture up. The icing on the cake she'll still charge you $10 more for a $32 cut because she's a senior stylist and your hair was at your "bra strap" long........well friends..... this is my fault for not searching for an even more over priced, over booked stylist. Walked in to get my sons hair cut; the old man took what seemed like a week entering all my personal information into their database and we sat and waited. After two people who walked in after us got beauticians before us, I asked the man behind me (who was also getting called before us) if he had called ahead, he said no, he thought it was weird he was getting called before us. Went there last weekend and had Trisha cut my hair and she did an even better job than Matt. I showed her the photo and she started off asking the right questions about the cut. She stopped me at times and ensured she was on the right track and also gave me ideas. All said and done, I didn't feel a thing through the entire haircut- she just cut through hair like a hot knife through butter and when she was finished, the haircut was exactly what I wanted and she correctly shampooed at the end so that I didn't have any residual hair falling on my shirt throughout the day. If you have long curly hair and you get Arnette, Run!! Most people say cutting my hair is easy and it's healthy because it's virgin hair. I purchase product from Sephora. Arnette said she was cutting an inch an a half, she took off about 6 inches. So those who know curly hair, I look like a Puff Ball now when it's dry. There were already long layers in my hair and she evened everything thing out then put the layers in again. NOW WHAT HAIR STYLIST DOES THAT? My hair was around my waist, I left with it just below my shoulders wet because Arnette does not know how to cut long curly hair with layers. I don't know what Arnette's problem was, was she jealous of my long hair, is she a hater of woman with long hair, was she mad cause I did not want to buy any of the products she recommend. Arnette talked too much, it was annoying. I didn't care about the product they sold there because I have been through all of them. Arnette rudely talked over me. How does she expect to know what the customer wants if she's too busy listening to her own voice and opinions? FOCUS ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING! I was trying to explain to her what I wanted, she was too busy trying to rush through me or sell me products. I should have walked out the many times I wanted to. I thought it was simple, clean up the ends and remove some weight off the crown. Too complicated for Arnette. Plus I think she uses dull scissors because now my ends feel coarse. The dead ends felt better. I could hear the shears chomping not slicing my hair. I knew she butchered me cause I saw the eyes of the other staff. Yes, I got a refund for my complaint. But I still have to live with this horrible cut until it grows out to cut again. Keep cutting little boys hair... FYI to all hair stylist who like to cut off long hair, it's Really RUDE and IGNORANT to do that to us because when we are ready to cut it off, we would like the option to donate it to help someone who needs it. read more

Let me start off by saying thank you to Cathy for fixing my hair.So this is the story my fiancé was at the mall getting her nails done so I decided to stop at the 5$ hair cuts to get a shape up more like just a touch up of my neck hair and that didn't happened he took my hair line up like 2 inches I still can't believe it was the dumbest mistake of my life so take my advice and don't go there. I tried to explain about 4 times that I wanted the same haircut I had just trimmed a bit shorter and cleaned up, and she kept saying "I don't understand." Then she said "Let's do it" and started cutting. I had to stop her and try to explain it again. Then we finally got close enough to on track that I let her do it, but she didn't even it out with where she went too short before I'd stopped her. So part of my hair is shorter than the other side. She just didn't seem interested in listening to what I wanted. Then while shampooing my hair she kept yanking and pulling. She was rude and didn't care about communication. It was like she was just getting annoyed with me and didn't care. She seemed to be in a hurry too, just whacking all my hair off as fast as she could. I'm just glad I stopped her before it would have been too noticeable. I was just trying to trim a short pixie cut, but she refused to take her time and make sure we were on the same page.
