Very welcoming, love the plants, and I felt like I was a regular immediately! I saw Becca, who was not only super nice, but made sure I was comfortable&asked me many questions on my hair history and type, what I wanted exactly (and what I did NOT want, which is just as important haha). I love the way she cut my hair !! I have never colored my hair before, so Becca gave me a detailed rundown on everything which was very helpful. FYI, everyone here loves to talk to you, which I really appreciated as I love talking lol. Overall, I had a wonderful time getting my hair cut and am definitely coming back for future cuts and for my coloring! Thank you so much honeycomb!!

Crystal has talked me through different ideas depending on what I'm feeling and has shaped my hair for both short and long cuts, resulting in manageable hair that works with my waves/curls! And importantly, it doesn't turn into the dreaded triangular poof... I also appreciate that she takes into account what your typical regimen is when cutting your hair (I'm very minimalist aka don't typically style my hair with tools and like to either air dry or throw my hair into a bun); she has given me low maintenance tips on how to manage it that I continue to use. Definitely recommend coming here if you have wavy/curly hair! Note: The front door is a bit hidden between two larger shops so look for the yellow honeycomb sign on the door and go up the stairs and into the left door. They also provide parking validation which is great and you can book appointments online!

I had a wonderful experience with Jess!…read more I just moved back to the area and am extremely nervous when it comes to going to a new salon/stylist and Elevate assuaged all my fears! You can book online which is super convenient and they texted me prior to my appointment to make sure what I booked aligned with my hair goals. I could send pictures of my current hair and inspo. You can even customize if you want a quieter or more talkative experience. This prior contact made me feel at ease even weeks before my appointment. The day of my appointment I was delighted to see a neat and well decorated salon, and there were even complimentary drinks and snacks which was most welcome. Since you book online, pricing is transparent, and I got exactly the service and cut I asked for. I am delighted by my hair, and Jess checked during multiple steps to make sure we had the same vision. She did not cut more than I asked which is a BIG fear of mine. I also felt educated on aftercare and products afterwards. Can't wait to go back!
