I took a chance and walked into the Hair Cuttery at Canyon Town Center in west Boynton Beach, FL. It turned out to be a great decision! I was taken immediately by Roselyn. She did an excellent job with my color and cut checking with me frequently to make sure she was doing what I wanted. I absolutely love what she did and haven't been this happy with my hair in years! I highly recommend Roselyn and this location. Everyone was pleasant and the other customers appeared happy with their results. I had an appointment for just a simple cut. I figured it would be easy enough to come to a Hair Cuttery instead of my normal salon. No blowout, just a simple trim. Well, when I got home and started to blow dry my hair, the amount of uneven spots were unbelievable. I have to now go to my real salon to get this mess fixed. I was charged $115 for my service however when booking the appointment the service was stated at $92. I was told this price was due to the length and thickness of my hair while other establishments such as Ulta does not charge extra just because someone has thick hair as it's not something within our control.Not to mention the color of my touch up was suppose to be honey blonde and it looks brown.I wouldn't recommend anyone with thick hair, curly hair to come to this salon.After charging me $115 the stylist had the audacity to say "Aww what no tip?".I've been a customer here for the past 5 years but after this experience I don't think I'll be returning. I walked in and the girl who was supposed to do my hair said oh yeah your blow out will be way more than the cost of the service (meanwhile my hair was in a pony tail). Seems to me she wanted to go home or was too lazy to do another blow dry. Told me it would be $66 and basically told me to leave. All I needed was a BLOW DRY!! "Manager" was just as rude and nasty. Ashley was the rudest hairdresser I have ever had. Ever. She never introduced herself, and seemed very put out to have to do a haircut. I have VERY thick hair and she was using a small comb on it to the point where she couldn't even get it into my hair, and was yanking and pulling hair out of my head., She kept saying it was because my hair was dry. (My hair was wet and conditioned because I had just finished my color) I'm almost 50 years old and I've never had a comb that small used on my head before. She was even mocking my dye job I had just done myself. Then she's trying to upsell product, saying I needed all this product she uses when she herself had nasty hair. I wasn't going to take any advice from her. I don't know if she was new or what, but I've never seen that technique in putting layers into hair. When combing it into sections, it wasn't even. I commented that it wasn't, and she said it was good enough. My hair is probably going to be a hot mess that needs to be fixed. As soon as I blow it out I will know for sure. This was the first and LAST time I will ever go to your salon. I'd like to know the manager at the store in case it needs to be fixed tomorrow. *UPDATE* The manager Debbie called me and actively listen to my concerns and was very kind and engaging. She offered me to come back and have her check my cut for errors and restyle it. I don't know if I will go back but I do appreciate her reaching out. read more

Both Daphne and Debbie give fabulous cuts. I have gotten many compliments on my hair since coming here, and my hair is thin and presents challenges. Also, I am able to blow out and shape it on my own, which is another sign of a great cut. They are pleasant, patient, and professional. Besides having a great personality, Therese, took her time cutting my sister's hair, and listened to what kind of cut she wanted. I made an 11:45 appointment for a cut, color and blow out at this location, 15 miles from home, but almost an hour away. When I finally got there, I was informed that my assigned stylist had sore wrists, and needed to reschedule my appointment. She said she tried to call me, but I didn't answer. She left no voice message or text. When I checked my phone, I saw that I missed a call, while I was already on my way. It cost me two hours of my time, and the price of gasoline. i got the hairdresser Spencer. big mistake. I dont live in the area so i cant drive back for a refund, and i regret not saying something while i was there. im just a shy person and did not want to make a scene! I just wanted regular trim/some layers and bangs. I showed the picture from the internet and I ended up looking like a fancy chicken or someone from the 80s because he cut it way too short. Literally the shortest bang is an INCH LONG. he was way too fast, and he was bragging about some fancy hair school he went too. Well he needs to go back because now im screwed for months until it grows back. 60 bucks down the drain. will NOT recommend. im very upset. read more

I would like this place out of business, I would never ever go .The haircut for my daughter was good because it was just straight along a line and that's it but my sons was quite the opposite. It was horrible. First of all, I asked for buzzed around the sides long on top and got buzzed all over and then they said I asked for buzzed around with an attitude. Then they cut my sons ear. This wasn't the first time. The first time it happened it was because he moved but this time it wasn't. They tried to say that he moved even though it was the cutters fault.
