Went in today for my hair cut with Mere. Super cool location ... love the concept of the small salons under one roof. She was running a few mins behind but I didn't care. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted in a hair cut. A hour later, not only had I had a great conversation with no weird silent periods but my hair looked great. I highly recommend. I love Hair by Mere!!! Whether it's color, cut or styling she really does have a strong grasp of her craft and executes perfectly. She listens and gives you what you want. Even if you don't know what you want she uses her knowledge to give you something even better than what you imagine!! I won't lie. Meredith is a fantastic stylist! I have thick wavy hair that has baffled many a stylist - since I've been with Meredith my hair looks healthy and great. She also did my daughter's bridal portrait. I chose to get my hair cut with Meredith after reading reviews on Yelp. My experience was that Meredith was fun and bubbly, but she did NOTTT listen to what I wanted in a cut. I showed her several pictures, but I am wondering now if she looked at them. She cut away without regard the modest trim I asked for. I walked away with a cut that looked nothing liked what I'd hoped for. It is so far off from what I want, in fact, I am thinking of going to another salon to have someone try and fix it. Maybe it was just my experience, but I will not go back because it is important to me that a hairdresser listens and does what I ask for, not just want they think is good/right. read more
