However, when it was time to pay, the stylist told me that more color had been used and I was charged an additional $25. While the stylist did a great job, the extra charge did not seem fair. The website did not indicate that root touch-ups start at a certain price or that additional charges may apply based on the amount of color used. Because of the unexpected charge, I ended up leaving a smaller tip than I had planned, which I felt bad about since the stylist's work was good. I was very disappointed with the salon's pricing transparency, especially because it's a salon I like and have enjoyed visiting.

I drive all the way from Oakland to get my hair cut and colored by Amanda, and that's a big deal for someone who doesn't typically like long drives or leaving their house. My aesthetic taste is more than a little unconventional, but Amanda finds a way to perfectly and beautifully refine even my most out-there ideas of what I want my hair to look like. I've also seen her work on clients with more conventional tastes and it's all stunning and skillfully executed. I enthusiastically recommend Amanda and Fusion 3 to everyone!

The manager luckily refunded my money because it was almost $200 for the balayage I wanted done! I wanted a balayage and showed the stylist the picture of the girls curly back hair And told her I wanted it like that picture. I also wanted to keep the roots dark. As you can see from the pictures it's nowhere near what I wanted and the stylist afterwards didn't even ask if I wanted it toned! The salon closed again cause of COVID so I had to redo it myself afterwards cause I was so embarrass of what it looked like. I didn't notice until I got home and closely looked in the mirror.

I tried different salons, hoping someone could help me feel like myself again, but no one truly understood my hair or my journey until I met Lealani at Salon Rebelle. From the very first appointment, she made me feel seen, understood, and cared for. She took time to learn about my mixed texture and gave me honest, thoughtful advice about what my hair could handle. She focused on long-term health, not just temporary beauty, and that changed everything (color, keratin treatments, extensions and monthly upkeep). My hair is finally growing again, stronger and healthier than it's been in years. But more importantly, I've started to feel beautiful again. Lealani's work goes beyond styling, it's healing. She gave me back my confidence and a reason to smile when I look in the mirror. Salon Rebelle isn't just a salon, it's a place of authenticity, creativity, and care. Lealani's magic hands and kind heart have transformed not just my hair, but my spirit. If you are looking for a shop to call home, look no further and book with Lealani or any hair professional at Salon Rebelle today!

I showed various pictures( front, side, and back) to give Briana a good idea of what I wanted to achieve. My 17 year old daughter's only comment (who recently got her hair cut from another local stylist in Livermore, got a beautiful cut and style) is that it's just bad and walked away. I have had plenty of horrible experiences and haircuts before so it's safe to assume I was anxious about trying this new salon. Once again, lesson learned, go to your trusted salon and stylist. DO NOT RELY ON RATINGS ALONE. I've already made an appointment with my trusted hair stylist in Fremont to fix my hair. I'm willing to drive further out to see her after this sad experience! In response to Varina's review: You had a different experience than I did and it's great that you love your results. But, you had a different hairstylist. And as the owner of the salon, I expected Briana to deliver and she fell short of that. I couldn't wear my hair straight because the cut was uneven; I had no choice but to curl it to hide the imperfections. You cannot deny that my hair looks nothing like the pictures I showed Briana. Would I be willing to risk sitting there again to have her "fix" it when she couldn't deliver the haircut I wanted in the first place? So, while I appreciate your feedback, the pictures speak for themselves. I did call the salon and also left a voicemail on Brianna's cell phone explaining my issue and disappointment, so she was aware of it before I wrote this review.

I also have to give her so much props for accommodating me while I was 33 weeks pregnant so she made sure I was hydrated and comfortable in the chair and at the wash station. She tightly curled my hair so that the next day, I would have loose curls for my baby shower event and one less thing to do. Thank you for the wonderful experience and can't wait for more self care sessions with Keema!
