My daughter got her hair colored by someone new on Monday and it was a disaster and nothing she asked for. We got referred to Kirsty Mello, who took us in at late notice (thank you!) We went into the apt very nervous after Monday's mishap which left my daughter absolutely devastated. Kirsty listened thoughtfully to my daughter's wants, set up a careful plan of action based on her recent color change and addressed her concerns with such sincerity. Within the first few minutes of her appointment my daughter was completely at ease and knew she was in good hands. Kirsty was warm and professional with her approach. Jeanette Louis is the BEST!!! This is the first time I have ever trusted someone else to color or cut my hair and I am SO HAPPY I did! Not only is she an incredibly talented and detail oriented hair artist, but she is so warm and sweet. The way she talks to you makes you feel like you are good friends out for coffee. I got my hair done by Lauren- touch up balayage but there was a lot of regrowth so more of a balayage. It was cheap and fast. She's very friendly and kind. I've been working with stylists for close to ten years to perfect my color and Courtney nailed it THE FIRST TIME! All I did was describe the color, folks. That's all it took and she was able to not only get it right, but do it better than it had ever been done before! I just realized I never gave a much deserved shout out to Malyssa and while I'm waiting for my hair wash, I thought this would be the perfect time. I followed Malyssa from her last spot, it's a further drive for me from Oakland but that's cause she's more than worth it. I've never had a hair stylist so attentive and focused, she asks me questions every time, whether it be a touch up, a cut, there's always feedback and interaction. She wants to make sure I'm happy with what I have and leave even happier and the way she achieves that every time is due to her skill and attention to detail. She can execute so well though cause she listens! She makes our appointments enjoyable and something I look forward to, not just cause I leave with a fabulous hair, but also because of who she is as a person. The space is clean, the furniture is modern and the decor is something I copy from haha the place has a parking lot on the side and in a great part of Livermore for before or after plans to grab coffee or get lunch. So thankful I found this salon and Brandi. I've been coming here since the week they opened and couldn't be happier with my hair! My best friend had been cutting and coloring my hair for about 10 years and after having a baby, I couldn't keep driving all the way to Mill Valley for hair. I tried a few other salons in town and was really disappointed. I had to go back multiple times to get color corrections or fix cuts.
