They also provide hair products to try as well as a Dyson hair dryer. I was definitely very impressed with the luxurious feel of the spa, however, was turned off by the receptionist who checked me in - her robotic, transactional nature was starkly juxtaposed against the warmth of the spa. I noticed she was the same with all customers so it wasn't personal but interaction with her was unsettling. I booked the 60min signature hydrafacial and the esthetician was welcoming and willingly customized my facial based on my requests. No major issues encountered but I noticed we started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early so I thought marketing it as a 60min experience was a bit misleading. Also note the 60min Signature Hydrafacial does not include any hand/neck massages nor boosters nor light therapy so the $285 price was much more expensive than my usual spa. I will not return for another facial but may try massage in the future. We also booked pedicures and again the space is beautiful!! We were given a palette to select colors and the ladies were extremely friendly! My toes came out adorable! I found the seating to be very uncomfortable for a short person despite many pillows placed behind me for support so I honestly struggled to enjoy the experience but the space was very nicely decorated and clean looking. We were offered tea and snacks at the beginning as well. Overall, this was a very nice spa. I found it fairly expensive and overpriced, but I recognize beautiful spaces have a cost and that's what I should've expected in the River Oaks area. There is complementary validated parking!

Called...no answer. Waited a while, called again....no answer. Called 3 more times...no answer. Called Clinique who is in the space next to them to see if they could see anyone at the Benefit Brow Bar. She said it was just the aesthetician and no one else, so the Clinique rep took my name and number down and said they'd deliver it to the esthetician. They never called. I had to go to the Galleria anyway, so I went ahead and walked over there and no one was there. A representative from Clarins asked if she could help me and I said I was wanting my eyebrows waxed. She said that the esthetician walked away 20 minutes before we arrived and had no idea why she wasn't there. She also took my name and number down to give it to the Benefit person when she came back. (She even commented on how unacceptable the situation was). So my husband and I went to get cash for a tip (since you cannot write in a tip on the receipt, which is really annoying) came back 10 min later, still NO ONE was there. So we waited for another 20 minutes. NO ONE showed up. My daughter was hungry so we went to grab something to eat, came back and the esthetician was packing up all of the waxing material. I asked if she could spare 10 min and she said "sorry I am closing." I just found out her name is Dominique. It was 7 o'clock on the dot at this point. I told her that I had been there several times, called, had messages delivered for a call back, and waited 20 minutes, all she could say was "I put everything away." (Add all of that up time up, her "lunch break" was well over 30 minutes) and then she immediately comes back from "lunch" and packs everything away before 7? Right. Not to mention, why was there only one person working there on a SATURDAY? I probably would not care about any of this, BUT this is the SECOND time I have been turned away here. The first time they turned me away at 6:45, 15 minutes before they supposedly stop waxing. And all of the materials were out and ready to go, they just couldn't be bothered and would rather have talked to one another than do their job. These two experiences are a damn shame because there are two estheticians who are wonderful and sweet, they would have taken me, especially if they knew I had waited for over 20 min with my husband and baby. They also do a great job with eyebrows. I'm not going back. In fact, I plan on calling tomorrow, complaining, finding out the name of the aesthetician, and calling Benefit's corporate office to complain.

Firstly, no one acknowledges you are standing there, you have to just start talking. After telling them I was there for my appt, the girl who booked it for me a few days before has the nerve to ask, "Did no one tell you about the 5 minute late policy?" Duh you didn't tell me about it or else I would've risked a ticket parking in a handicap spot just to get these eyebrows done. They (Rhonda) refused to see me and were not at all apologetic about it nor did they attempt to reschedule. Rude. I now hate this place. Now I have to search for another establishment to tame these brows.
