When the tran was totaled, it was $50.00 higher then the ad price. The sales clerk could not figure it out and called another sales clerk for assistance. She as well could not figure it out and another salesman was called over. He seemed so disinterested that he just walked away. I decided to go to Ace Hardware and was in and out in less then 2 minutes at the same sales price. No manager to be found and lack of training made this a poor experience.

Tyler talked with the manager, Andy, and he said $75 is the minimum but when you bring it back, we can take some off the $75. I rented it for one hour and 10 minutes, from pick up to drop off. I asked for a discount and Andy said our minimum rental price for a log splitter is $75. Wow. It is not so much the money as it is the character reflection. Lack of integrity.

They carry most of the items I usually need, and I really appreciate the drive-through area for loading lumber. It makes a big difference when you're buying long or heavy pieces. Stopped in today with a friend who needed some lumber. We were able to find enough straight 2x4s for his project, which is always a small victory when digging through a stack.

Poor customer service and poor quality, overpriced paint…read more I am repainting a new house, so I have been here several times with questions about paint and to sample and purchase some paint. During every visit, I have had to try and get help from an associate as they seem to either all be sitting in the back break area, or they don't volunteer to help. Each visit has left me with different answers from different associates. Foolishly, I ultimately purchased two gallons of their top of the line Emerald paint and was very disappointed not only with the poor and uneven coverage (after two coats on a clean, lightly textured, new drywall surface), but also with the color. I was told by an associate that I could not return the paint, but that they would replace it with a different color; when I went in with my unopened and unused gallon of paint to exchange for another color, the associates in the store said they don't do any such thing. Save yourself the trouble and try Ace Hardware instead. Their customer service is far superior, they have knowledgeable and helpful staff, and they have much better quality paints at a better price.

He directed me to two different aisles that I just had finished searching. I asked him if he could check if they have them in the store. This was a big problem. He tells me the item has been discontinued. I ask him why it is on the stores website. He tells me that he probably entered the wrong item. He never helped me find the item. She explained that I did not do the order right not selecting specialty services. Instead of using their common sense that it should be on address label paper like any other OfficeMax does, she said "we don't assume". She shut me down basically. She was extremely rude not letting me explain that I don't ever have to note that when I've ordered address labels from Sheboygan OfficeMax. They understood the assignment.
