3G toolboxes.com is a distributor for RDS Manufacturing who makes tool boxes. Both toolboxes.com…read moreand RDS Manufacturing needs to provide clarity on their product websites. Here are the issues I encountered. I ordered a 20x30 dock box and was disappointed for the following reasons: 1) all the web images for the tool box I ordered had pull handles but the box I received did not. 2) The lid has a gas operated lift arm that was too short to fully open the lid. 3) The shipping cost was more than the original order and additional cost was added after the sale with my approval. 4) The box top opening was nearly 2 inches smaller than the box dimensions for lid overlap. 5) the key is difficult to remove when locked. My issues are mostly in ordering details that should be enhanced on the web sites.

Proctor Ace Hardware exceeded my expectations! We came to get a drywall repair kit and found it and…read moreso much more! There was a man making popcorn near the front of the store and he told us exactly where we could find it. I jumped on the porch goose club several years ago and I'm always looking for more outfits and accessories for my gaggle of geese. I found a couple of things and also a plastic hummingbird feeder on clearance sale. Before we came to Jax on vacation last week, we've been having so many hummingbirds visit us in Dallas. I have several different feeders and found that they prefer the feeders with a place for them to land their feet on them. This feeder fit the bill and it fit perfectly in my suitcase for the flight home. There were so many fun Halloween decorations and pumpkins, gourds, etc. one woman shopping had 3 of the most beautiful orchids that I've ever seen. They were huge! They have some clothing, a huge aisle of knives, home decor,... you name it, they have it! This Ace Hardware is everything I expect to find at a hardware store and then some!

I had a very disappointing experience with this business…read more I needed a specific tub spout for a hotel fixture and explained clearly that compatibility was the only thing that mattered. Before placing the special order, I asked more than once what would happen if the item didn't fit. I was repeatedly assured that it would. When the item arrived, it did **not** fit. I had concerns as soon as I saw it, but was still told it would work. I returned the item as directed by my employer. The purchase was made with my **personal funds**, and now I am still waiting for my refund. The most frustrating part was the attitude during the return process--it felt like I was inconveniencing them, even though the item did not match the assurance I was given. If you're placing a special order here, make sure you get the return policy and compatibility guarantees **in writing**. Clear communication and timely refunds should be standard. I hope this situation is resolved soon.

Don't be fooled by the name of this store. RayWare Hardware is far from your usual corner hardware…read morestore. Rather, it's an upscale cabinet and door hardware, unique sinks, swanky mailboxes, lighting...I could go on...hardware "gallery" of sorts. My husband and I popped in one afternoon, as we are looking to modernize and upgrade our kitchen lighting. Karah, the sales girl who promptly greeted us, was knowledgeable, helpful and offered us additional catalogs to browse. (She even sent us home with several.) I loved all of the cabinet and door hardware they have! There was everything from lizard handles to whimsical fiddlehead ferns. I could have browsed them all afternoon! While their selection [of most everything] is lovely and mostly on the more unique side, it is all quite pricey and likely outside of our rather small reno budget. But go and check this place out! I'm glad we finally did.
