REFUSED HELP AND SERVICE! NEVER SUPPORTING THIS LOCAL BUSINESS OR RECOMMENDING!…read more I went to this LOCAL establishment after deciding to support local businesses in GNV. Went to get paint and rent a pressure washer. It was like a 'boys only' club. I walked in with immediate prejudice of 'what's a girl doing in here (eye rolls)'. I got my paint and Bill helped me with a pressure washer, gave me instructions that I filmed to have for when I got home. By the way, their pressure washers are extremely used, harshly. I got all that I needed and was out of there by 8:30am, got home, worked a full day, then got to start my home project at 3pm on a Friday. I opened the video made sure to follow all the instructions, however, when I attached my garden hose to the machine, the attachment was lose and had a makeshift spring that would not catch and tighten. I called Gator Paint, was instructed that I 'just needed to tighten it with a wrench'. I have done several home projects, fixed my own car, assembled a ton of furniture, THIS simple tightening method was impossible. I took the machine back in hopes of getting a replacement or someone to help me tighten the attachement. I get back to Gator Paint at 4pm, an old, overweight, man with a WALKING BOOT, finally got off his seat to "help me", he did not, told me I needed to tighten the attachment again. I expressed that I couldn't and I had tried. His immediate response was to get me a refund. Told me it was user error, refused to give me an exchange when there were 2 additional machines, did not want to show me how to tighten the machine I was renting when I gladly offer to take the machine back once he showed me such a simple tightening solution. I asked to schedule a different rental and he refused, said I would have the same issue and wanted to just issue my refund. I HOPE YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS!

How cool is that? I cannot imagine another town smaller than Atlanta having such a wonderful resource. The resource is not just the variety of liquid seaweeds, and Mycorrhisals, and exotic sprayers available, it is the ready easy knowledge of the kids that work there. I have access to faculty in the Horticulture Department at UF, but they have better things to do than spend all day answering my questions, and they go into theoretical complexities that I do not need. The kids working this lovely hydroponic supply outlet do not have better things to do than spend all day answering my questions. And they are so well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced that they should be teaching and giving seminars. Yes, they are a little expensive relative to online, or even the big box stores like Lowes, but if you want this type of resource to continue in towns this size you will not just by your nutrient solutions there, you will buy your coco coir there as well. Come on people; don't go to Lowes just to save a few bucks on the common stuff, by helping this great business thrive you will help your plants thrive, and when your plants thrive, you thrive. Forgive me for adding this, but when you thrive we all thrive. LETS THRIVE!!!

She also made a few suggestions as well. We took samples home and pondered them. The tiles I had wanted seemed they might be too busy for our small bathroom/shower, so back we went to the store a week later. We worked with Patti again and she listened to my thoughts on the busyness of the patterns , and very quickly she pointed us to the perfect tiles. Patti was so helpful in this process, which with so many choices can be overwhelming. Floor and Decor always has such a great selection, and is our go-to for whichever property we are working on, but as busy rental property owners, it's really nice to have someone make the decision making quick and easy. We highly recommend Floor and Decor, their fair pricing, quality tile, helpful staff and especially Patti, who was superb!

As we repair one thing, another opportunity/ disaster presents itself. Hubs was able to repair most of the beautiful hardwood floors that were ruined by previous owners but half of our home needed new flooring. Since we live in Ocala, we decided to use Floor & Decor as the option and chose to order online & delivery our first experience. We need countertops for our new kitchen so I suggested to hubs to travel up to the store so we can shop in person and browse options. We also want to weight out price options between different stores. We arrived in the early evening and it was not busy. As soon as we were about to enter the store, we were greeted very enthusiastically by an employee. It was so nice and welcoming. This store is massive! We decided to walk around the entire store since it was our first time here. I was surprised of the imbalance of product genres. Eventually, we located where the countertops were and it was the smallest section of this warehouse size store. Once we located the countertop section, we found very limited options but decided to pull samples together. There are areas where you can put samples together and see how everything looks. After we did that, we decided to leave. Upon walking out, an employee who was working the designing desk offered his card and informed us the services Floor & Decor provides, including someone coming to the home and assisting in ordering, designing, and providing estimates. We were also greeted on the way out of the store. The employees were really nice.
