REFUSED HELP AND SERVICE! NEVER SUPPORTING THIS LOCAL BUSINESS OR RECOMMENDING!…read more I went to this LOCAL establishment after deciding to support local businesses in GNV. Went to get paint and rent a pressure washer. It was like a 'boys only' club. I walked in with immediate prejudice of 'what's a girl doing in here (eye rolls)'. I got my paint and Bill helped me with a pressure washer, gave me instructions that I filmed to have for when I got home. By the way, their pressure washers are extremely used, harshly. I got all that I needed and was out of there by 8:30am, got home, worked a full day, then got to start my home project at 3pm on a Friday. I opened the video made sure to follow all the instructions, however, when I attached my garden hose to the machine, the attachment was lose and had a makeshift spring that would not catch and tighten. I called Gator Paint, was instructed that I 'just needed to tighten it with a wrench'. I have done several home projects, fixed my own car, assembled a ton of furniture, THIS simple tightening method was impossible. I took the machine back in hopes of getting a replacement or someone to help me tighten the attachement. I get back to Gator Paint at 4pm, an old, overweight, man with a WALKING BOOT, finally got off his seat to "help me", he did not, told me I needed to tighten the attachment again. I expressed that I couldn't and I had tried. His immediate response was to get me a refund. Told me it was user error, refused to give me an exchange when there were 2 additional machines, did not want to show me how to tighten the machine I was renting when I gladly offer to take the machine back once he showed me such a simple tightening solution. I asked to schedule a different rental and he refused, said I would have the same issue and wanted to just issue my refund. I HOPE YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS!

Both times the clerk informed me that the restroom was out of order. upon further inquiry I was informed that the bathroom wasn't going to be repaired as it is too expensive to repair and is not profitable. I asked the staff what they do and a salesclerk informed me that they go to the bathroom behind the store. This is a health issue, a public disservice, and shows shows a total lack of concern for loyal customers.

He expertly explained the differences between the gas and electric models of the equipment she was interested in, and found a good deal on one of the products that was on sale. We also got an extra battery for one of the tools as a promotional deal that we weren't aware of. We purchased all of her new toys... er.. uh... "tools," and Adam assisted in registering them for warranty. This is a great hardware store, and they have lots of products. Chances are they have exactly what you need! Unfortunately, when I first arrived I couldn't browse the front plants because they were being watered, but I still ended up finding a cute little squash plant to take home. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. They have a wide variety, and I was really impressed with how many different plants and unique options they offer. They also carry houseplants, which is a nice bonus. There's a decent amount of parking, and overall I'd recommend this place if you're looking to liven up your garden. I'll definitely keep them in mind next time I'm on the hunt for a specialty plant.

Overall, it's a sweet local nursery with helpful people and a good selection for its size.
