I did not count the clams but it was a really small order (Maybe 6 or 7). And most of the clams were pretty big. They seemed like the clams you'd get on special from a restaurant that does not serve clams often. The batter was also not sticking to the clams. Too bad. I used to eat fried clams 1-2 times a year and only at Ted's. I won't be having them there any more. I will return to try a few other things. But not the clams.

The dish used to have calamari, fresh tomatoes, and the sauce had more flavor and broth and not overloaded with garlic paste. Additionally there used to be more pasta than the current dish too. One would think that the pasta is relatively inexpensive compared to the seafood so adding some more pasta shouldn't cut into the profit margin too much. We have eaten at Street & Co for over 28 years and over time the quality of the Lobster Diavolo dish has decreased. Hopefully the current Chef's can bring the Lobstet Diavolo dish back to the way it used to be, one of Street & Co's signature dishes!
