But, having never even known such a place like this existed, I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was my barber had no clue what he was doing and wasn't helping. So I decided to go for it. Can't exaggerate how glad I am, and how awesome she made the (nearly pain free) experience =) You literally can't get better, she is a master of her craft and it's easy to see why she is so highly rated on every site! The studio is also located on the top floor with a beautiful view, which is great =D Like everyone else, I now see why she is so sought after.

I have never done my own eyebrows, out of fear that I'll end up being one of those "I went too far…read moreand now my brows will never look normal again!" horror stories, and this paranoia extended to letting others touch 'em. But I looked in the mirror one day and decided to see what would happen if I took a leap of faith and entrusted my brows to a professional. I didn't realize it at the time, but Lindy was the exact kind of professional I had in mind. I booked a "Mother-Pluckin' Tweeze" service, since I figured it'd give Lindy more opportunity for precision (according to her, a good aesthetician can do just as well with wax, but hey, I have my preferences). Not only did I get precision, I got a textbook-perfect session. She started by walking me through what she was going to do, drew her planned shape (which complemented my natural shape), and got down to business. In each step of the process, she made sure to check in with me to make sure I was going to get what I wanted. Even before she threw on some brow gel, my brows looked brand-spankin'-new. Go to Lindy if you want to walk out feeling like your brows are the center of the universe.

It's always scary finding a new eyebrow esthetician, but I'm thrilled to have stumbled across PowerSpa. I met with Carmen and loved the entire experience with her at their cute studio! She first asked me to describe my brows (a lot of waxers won't even do this, but it's helpful to be able to share the context of what I like, and what I'm looking to improve.) She then expertly mapped out what my brows could look like and I didn't even recognize them - she knew exactly what I wanted. We went for a full but feathered brow. She got to work waxing the perfect shape for me. I'm so deeply impressed with how good they look and she has gained a forever client in me! My husband even commented on my "pretty" eyebrows when I came home (and he's not normally one to notice these things.) Thank you Carmen!!! I promise to not touch my brows before I return next.
