On the way to Chichen-Itza, my girlfriend and I stopped by the little shop on 180D to buy tickets for Chichen-Itza and Cenote Ik Kil. The guy there told us to get tickets for the buffet as well, which came out to roughly 13$ USD per person.
We went to the cenote in the morning, and swung by the buffet around 1PM before walking around Chichen Itza.
First off, they tell you there are "5 restaurants", while in reality it is more like 5 extraordinarily sub-par food stands. Expect to find cheap knock off spaghetti, "desserts", and old chicken floating in broth. The only thing halfway decent there was their taco stand, and the lady serving the tacos did not look happy at all. Overall, one of the worst food experiences I've had in my life. We ordered some alcoholic beverages, and not only were they extremely overpriced, but they were very sub par as well. Definitely would not recommend ANYONE to eat there. I would rather eat PB&J sandwiches than go to that buffet.
0/10 if I could.
