    Disfrutando un poco

Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed with the food as it didn't have a ton of flavor. The drinks on the other hand, they sneak up on you, so they are good. This is a nice spot that's for sure.

Top notch covid safety - this place took temps and provided sanitizer upon arrival, we watched them sanitize all the tables and even had individually wrapped utensils and a mask holder for each customer! We ordered a modelo and mojito (light on the sugar - which was executed perfectly). For the entree we ordered the pescado al ajo and cochinita pibil. The fish was cooked just right with so much garlic flavor and the pork was tender with pickled onions and roasted salsa on the side. Tortillas were also very fresh. We were on a time crunch and they were accommodating. Would love to come back here again!

Great food on the way back from Chichén-Itzá to Cancún for lunch. Excellent chorizo, guacamole, tacos and fajitas that really hit the spot!

We order the "Parrillada Yucatán" and it was delicious! A perfect combination of flavors, totally recommend it. Our server was Abelardo, great customer service. Please try the "Chaya con piña"!!!

They have a large menu option, including several local yucatean dishes

I stopped in for a bite to eat and to rehydrate. I chose the place because it was busy and the food looked yummy. They also had many choices for licquados, aguas frescas and limonadas which is what I was looking for. I ordered a yucatean local dish called poc-chuc, the grilled pork was spiced flavorfully and was great with lime. The dish is served with plenty of corn tortillas, refríed black beans, salsa and avocado. Filling and delicious. The mango juice was just want I needed after several hours in the sun at Chichén itza. Definitely recommend for the food, drinks service and atmosphere!

This was a wonderful experience with Yucatan food. It was delicious. We ordered a Yucatan barbecue, different meals with a rich flavor. The waiter, Miguel, was gentle and explained everything about our food. I recommend this restaurant in Valladolid.

22 August 2014: After leaving Chichen Itza, Valladolid was the only place to stop for something to eat. You know you're in the right place when you see all of the tour busses emptying out. J and I decided on Las Campanas because it looked authentic to us. Their prices finished convincing us. This restaurant prides itself on being authentic / traditional food from Yucatan. I didn't recognize a lot of their food, but that sure as hell didn't stop us. We each had a beer and split a caldo tlalpeño, YucaQueso (a type of queso fundido), and a stuffed potato without mushrooms. They offer free salsa and (store bought) chips. The green salsa was divine. Like a white girl, I can't even. Everything was fantastic. There's a small stage for live music, but I'm glad no one played anything. It made things better not to have to talk over loudness. The service was great and this place is awesome.

Great Salsa but overall too genuine for us :). It was alright. We drove here from Cancun wanting something local, but wasn't specifically what we were wanting. We didn't really eat.

It's a little place but the service and the food it's excellent. The "Yucaqueso" it so delicious and perfect to share with someone else, be careful with the habanero sauce. The price it's accessible, and the location it's perfect.

They offer us Paper bag for mask, food was good! The place was right in town. Perfect to grab a bite to eat while you are touring around.

You crawl out of Chichén Itzá sunburned, dusted in ancient limestone, vaguely questioning your life…read morechoices--and then you land here. Just steps from Valladolid's buzzing zócalo, where scooters zip past and church bells cut through the heat, this place hides in a garden like a well-kept secret. Lantern light. Greenery. The kind of setting that makes you slow down whether you meant to or not. Romantic without trying too hard. The food? Solid. Confident. Proudly Yucatecan. Sausages with snap and smoke. Poc chuc--citrus-marinated pork, kissed by flame--bright and satisfying after a long day wandering ruins. And the beef pibil, wrapped in that earthy, achiote-stained depth that tastes like it's been cooking since before you bought your plane ticket. Not fussy. Just honest, regional flavor done right. Presentation was sharp without being pretentious. Plates came out looking like someone cared. Service was efficient--no hovering, no theatrics. They know you're hot, hungry, and probably still thinking about pyramids. They move accordingly. It's the kind of place that feels like a reward. Ancient wonders by day. Garden dinner by night. Valladolid humming just beyond the walls. That's a good way to end a day in the Yucatán.
