Love ReStore!! We needed a replacement door and rather than spending big money on a new one, we got one here for only $20! We also snagged a modern chandelier for only $12. Since it's a thrift store I wouldn't say it's the spot to go if you need something specific right away, but great for when you have flexibility or are feeling lucky. I've been here a couple of times now, and they really have a decent selection of new and used items. We wound up getting some curtain rods for a really decent price, brand new in the box. It's kind of like a cross between Goodwill, and a hardware store. I've been to the ReStore in Aurora Illinois and got a complete shipping station for our business there. If they don't have what you need, give it some time & come back, they may have it. read more

For how much crap this place has its super organized. These workers need more credit. We actually went to the goodwill around the corner right after and their stuff was waaaayyy less organized. The clothes at goodwill was organized well but the home trinkets were in disarray. So good job habitat for humanity! Over priced. Period. Just go to Lowe's if you're going to shop here. If you want deals you're better off going to Stardust Building Supplies, Sale Sumo, or FB Marketplace. I asked one of the workers if they'd go any lower on their Pine block counters and he tells me, "No, if you go to Home Depot you'd be spending $1000" and I informed him Lowe's is selling the same thing for the same price. My husband and I have been coming here for years almost once a week for our multiple home remodeling projects. The staff is extremely helpful and always friendly. This is one of our first stops when looking for anything house related because the prices are very reasonable. New Habitat for Humanity ReStore location! I think this store will have great synergy with the Goodwill in the same plaza. While Goodwill offers a mix of small home goods with furniture, clothing and toys, ReStore has more focus on home improvement with bigger home items. It's kind of like a Home Depot thrift store. The aisles are well organized and easy to browse through. They had many small parts neatly placed in bins such as screws, pins, and nails. There was also a fair selection of refrigerators and washing machines. Some other items I remember seeing were cans of paint, ceramic tile, doors, windows, granite slabs, carpet tiles, and rugs. This place is one of those spots that is hit or miss because the products change regularly. They have used and new items. Its like a big thrift store for home items. Pictures, paints, furniture, flooring, stoves, fridges, door mats, nails & bolts, cabinets, pots, rugs, air fryers and so much more. At times I walk in and out without seeing one thing that catches my eye. Other times, I see a few things here and there I need or can use but at a good price. All of the proceeds go back to the Habitat for Humanity so your saving money and giving back all at the same time! read more

I believe these guys are a little bit of a racket. They get stuff donated to them and their pricing doesn't reflect the quality of the donation. For example, they were selling 5 gallon buckets of paint that had been used and open for a set price (about $25). There was one Bucket of paint that probably had less than 1 gallon inside, and when I took it to the register they tried to charge me full price. When I asked them why, they actually got upset with me. Makes me feel like they did it on purpose. Like they're hoping people aren't paying attention so that they can overcharge customers. When I tried to explain why I was confused they literally walked away from me. Both the girl at the cash register and the manager who refused to adjust the price. Friends, this is not an exaggeration. 5 gallon bucket with maybe 1 gallon inside. I have been going to restore for about a decade. I followed them to 3 different locations where they have set up shop. The selection is worse than ever, the staff is ruder than ever, and I really think they're pulling fast ones on purpose. I love the concept but what a hassle. We are doing a huge remodel and have a lot of great items we want to donate - three year old sliding glass doors, five brand new windows (we changed the design after we had purchased them), hickory cabinets with granite countertops, 75 LED canned lights (only a few years old as we upgraded to white light versus warm light), sinks, high end faucets etc. etc. I setup a pickup and we worked around everything during the 3 weeks we had to wait for the pickup. Morning of the pickup I hadn't heard anything so I called and left a message - nothing, next morning I go the store - they tell me they are sorry but corporate handles all that, I told them I left messages and they told me to try again but sometimes it takes a week or more for them to reply. I left more messages that day and then the next. Now 10 days later and they still have not shown, corporate doesn't answer the phone and they do not return phone calls. I know they got the message because they did call me back (must have been by mistake) and when I answered they hung up. There is at least $15k in really great stuff sitting here and my contractors are working around it. Next week they start on the outside of the house and all this stuff has to move. So I am stuck. What a terrible organization. They screwed me and won't even bother to return my call. I was warned by our contractor that this is par for the course for them. I should have listened. read more

Loved this restore. Great selection. They are still on track with pricing that is affordable for everyone while supporting a wonderful cause. It wasn't trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes, unlike the California locations I frequently shop. I'm not really into the cheap rugs inherited as overstock from the big corporations. It's a little bit of highway robbery and I don't think it's cool to sell those items to folks who don't know any better. Finally, aside from setting down my tape measure at the cash wrap and the cashier refusing to give it back to me (as she believed it was hers), pricing and service was fantastic (minus the the cost of my tape measure, which I'm still mildly irritated about). read more

This store is highly overpriced. This is supposed to be donated goods, and they are trying to resell the goods in the store as if they're all brand new there is not a discount you might as will go to a regular store and buy your items. I know people that have large businesses come in and buy things, but Habitat for Humanity was designed for the lower income people so that they can afford to buy items. However, this store has become another money maker. read more

I came here once a year ago and left once I realized most items were priced at 10%-20% below actual retail... I literally laughed out loud when I saw a 50 year old washer/dryer set that was priced at $50 EACH. Unbelievable. I decided to try again today. Checked their hours on Maps and they opened at 8 - awesome! That's earlier than every other second hand store. I arrived at the store to find the "8" on their hours tag taped over, but there was no indication on the sign of when they actually opened. I called the store number and found out they opened at ten. I got little 3 kids up, ready, out the door, in and out of the car just to find out at the door that they, in fact, do not open when they say they do online. The pandemic has been going on for months, it's no excuse to have not changed the hours over by now. If you're going to gauge people on their money and their time then I'm just not going to bother shopping here, and neither should anyone else. read more

I love this store! It is like treasure hunting for your home. The inventory changes regularly and if you see something you should grab it then cause it will be gone. We went looking for some pnatry cabinets and they had brand new cabinets for sale so we bought some new ones for our laundry room. They are very nice and good quality for a cheap price. I really like them. My only complaint is there was no one to help us find the cabinets or answer any questions we had. It took us a while to figure out what each one was and the price. It would have been much easier if someone could have helped us. Otherwise, I will go back because it is fun to find unique stuff. Check it out! read more

Too bad, they missed a fine dresser w/mirror, A sleigh- style bed-frame, two side 2-drawer end tables and an automatic ice-maker. I'll find someone else! read more

Went to ReStore for the first time today - wow! We found the dining table we wanted pretty much immediately. We were helped by Rick - he was amazing! Rick helped us get our stuff to the register, and then also helped us disassemble the table when we realized it was a bit too large to go in my car in one piece. We will be back! read more

If I could rate this a ZERO STAR, I MOST DEFINITELY would. The employees who are white are unfriendly seem like to black people, as I have very well experienced on several occasions just to make sure no one could not make this up, as I have heard frim others as well. You coulw walk in their own store and not ever get a warm welcome nor greeting, seem like unless you are white. This is no lie. Noone would ever ask you if you need any help or did you find what you were looking for. The prices are ridiculous, as if they were selling it brand new. If you want to be treated nice when you shop and feel welcome walk into their store even when you are black dont expect to get it from them. I promise you, I cannot nake this up. Watch were and choose where you want to spend your hard earned money it. This store does not evn deserve free donation. Today took tge straw, I went in was trying to purchase an item, had left my bankcard in the car after 30minutes waiting in the check out line, and the cashier rang up my item and alkowed me to run to the car which took 1 minute to get it. I came back in and learned that she mistakenly sold the item. The other cashier stepped in and said it is already sold. I explained to her it should noy have been. The original cashier who were waiting the second who also allowed me to go grab my bankcard stated that she didnot realize that the item that she sold to other customer was actually the item I was trying to buy. She apologize.  The other cashier went to get the manager and the manager name Paul was very unprofessional and behaved quite tacky--he said it was sold. And there was nothing he could do about it, when he could have simple refunded the purchase back to that customer. He said he could not hold items in which this was not the case. And he clearly knew that. But because he did not listen, acknowledge, the issue, and simple apologize for the error of this discrepancy it does not represent what any company and place of business should always stand for. Just no empathy at all. None. I guess because my skin was so brown and hers was so white, and his skin was white as well, in the world today, It didn't  matter to him. I ask for the phone number to corporate office, dialed it, and that was the store number to it's own store. So I came here, hoping that people would be able to see, that some people would never change in our society. Paul, that manager at that store needs to be trained on customer service and how to be diverse, when it comes to people in all fashion, forms, and color. And need to remember in the business world o customer service, we may not always remember your name, your face, what exactly you said-- but for certain people will always, and I do mean ALWAYS remember how you made them feel. . read more

I'm 72 years old. I've donated thousands of dollars worth of things to this store. Today, after telling them what I was bringing and showing a photo, I arrived with furniture on a truck that I hired because their first pickup was over 2 weeks away and they virtually laughed at me for even bringing it. I was totally embarrassed. Habitat claims to be helping people and hopefully does, but the staff at the Southern and McClintock store in Tempe were rude and obnoxious. read more

Great place to shop for bargains. I found the staff very helpful. The savings can be amazing if you can find what you're looking for. I found great prices on windows and doors. I was so glad that I could find some beautiful slate tile, I was able to install an amazing floor that was so much more than I had hoped for. The bargains are here and they can be yours! read more

My Mom and I came into this store today and were surprised to find tons of items that were brand new and priced low. The used items were clean and in good condition. The store was organized and had a nice layout with plenty of room. Good selection. What we were most impressed with was an employee named Enrique. He was so very helpful and polite and went above and beyond to help us. He was professional and knowledgeable and took the initiative to figure out and remedy what the other employee could not or would not bother with. It was really a simple transaction, he took a moment to HEAR us regarding an item we wanted and he made it happen. This place is interesting and probably good if you hAve small projects or are a handyman. It's Miscellaneous stuff primarily for home repair. I found some frames pictures that I had to restore and some door stops. I saw used cabinets, doors, paint left overs, and appliances. It's worth checking out. read more
