But the salad was excellent. They split it for us for a small upcharge. The Halibut was excellent. We had to split it ourselves, but that was not a problem for us. It was served over couscous and was excellent. A bit small to split, so we added a cheesecake dessert with ganache. Very good. We paired it all with a Cabernet from the Oakville area of Napa (where we had just visited) and it was excellent as well. Our server was attentive. The pacing of our meal was very well done. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt.
