I originally reached out to Ada and a few other businesses in June to get my 'pre-wedding' (aka small, unofficial family-only ceremony) dress altered for September; it needed to be properly fitted, hemmed, and at the last minute I wanted to see if pockets could be added. Ada got back to me within a few days where some others never did and her prices were by far the best; she quoted me at a little more than $200 when the boutique I got the dress at estimated ~$800 and another business quoted me ~$500. The timeline for alterations was also significantly better which I later realized was because this is a small business where she can spend dedicated time working on the project. In total, from first fitting to final fitting, it was just a week as everything was perfect and fortunately I didn't need any later fittings as my size didn't change over the following months before the ceremony (I did try the dress back on at multiple points just in case). Overall she made the process comfortable and easy which was so nice because I was definitely an anxious bride. I hope to be able to go to her again in the future for general alterations and possibly again for my big, official wedding next year once I find that second dress! Thank you so much Ada! I used Yelp to reach out to a number of Wash/Dry/Fold places. Clean All was quick to respond and offered very reasonable rates. They even made suggestions for me to pass on to the repair people. I guess that makes sense because people who run laundromats have lots of with broken equipment. Anyway, I dropped off a bunch of laundry and it was clean, dry, and folded the following morning. They did a great job and even listened to my requests for some minor special handling. While I was there, I learned they also wash larger items, like weighted blankets, take in dry cleaning, and do alterations. Frankly, before this I never even realized they were there, and I've gone past there store 100s of times. I'll certainly use them for WDF the next time I need it. That may be in a few days since, sadly, the circus is still in town.

Over the…read morelast four months I have had three separate leather items repaired, cleaned and re-stiched/seamed. I had a leather jacket and two purses repaired. Bar none, the repairs were the best I have ever had done anywhere! The quality was outstanding! Their attention to detail is not something I see anymore. On all three repairs they found extra items that needed TLC and did them without extra charges. The staff is always friendly too. I would rate them 4 & 1/2 stars on their workmanship if I could. I would give Casmera 5 stars if they were not so in demand and took longer than expected for all the jobs. That is a great problem to have. Also, striving toward better communication with their customers about the repairs would definitely give them five stars. Don't go anywhere else. Go to Casmera. They were out of the way for me, but so worth it!

I purchased a Mother of the Groom gown from Zoya's Boutique in 2021 for approximately $4,000…read more Unfortunately, my son's wedding was canceled due to COVID-19. At the time of purchase, the owner advised me not to have the gown altered until I was ready to wear it, and I followed that recommendation. This year, when my son's wedding was rescheduled, I returned to Zoya's for alterations. I was extremely disappointed to receive a quote of $1,588, plus an additional $45 for cups. (See below) Although the staff at Zoya's have been pleasant and welcoming, I found the alteration charges to be unreasonably high, particularly compared with prices I had paid elsewhere. For comparison, Maes Boutique charged me $350 to alter another Mother of the Groom gown. Because of the significant difference in pricing, I decided to have the alterations completed by another professional boutique, which is charging me $380 for comparable work. This experience was very disappointing. Customers purchasing high-end gowns should receive clear, fair, and reasonable pricing for alterations and related services. Based on my experience, I cannot and do not recommend Zoya's Boutique. I encourage others to ask about alteration costs in advance and compare prices before making their purchase at Zoya's!!!!!
