I am so glad I called this man. I called everyone I could find then landed this company's phone number. Once he answered it was night and day from what I was told by the other companies. Glen is very professional, knowledgeable, fast and most of all 1000% aware of customer satisfaction. My garage door went out on me at the most unexpected time, of course, and like most people I have all my tools in my garage as well as other items stored. I could not go without having my door fixed that day and the door chose to malfunction about 5 p.m. which is closing time for everyone else. I checked out YELP'S Garage Door Repair Shops with five star ratings ONLY!! on December 28, 2017. My go-to garage door guy answered his phone, BUT he was visiting his grandbabies in Montana, No dice! So, after some careful comparisons with the highly rated garage repair businesses through Yelp, I decided to go with H2H Doors due to Glenn's "Straight no BS" phone conversation. Glenn showed up as promise within that timeframe. He replaced my broken torsion springs which was the issue I called him for. He went above my expectations, not only he replaced the springs but oiled up the rollers, hinges and observed entire garage door for any issues which none was found. Our vintage wooden double garage door was not reliable as it closed (sometimes it would, sometimes it wouldn't.) I called H2H Doors and Glen arrived within the hour. His analysis surprised me... we thought it was a cranky motor, but the door was actually about to fall out of the wall, it was held on by one bolt, and the track was bowed out. He replaced the original springs and rollers, tighten every hinge bolt, and gave me a lesson on how to maintain a healthy door. He serviced the companion door and diagnosed a problem with the wall opener button. He explained how I could repair that problem with a simple part from the hardware store, but he would be happy to do it for me if I preferred. My garage door would not close completely.....and then suddenly dropped to the floor. It didn't sound good, or look good. The main spring had broken and I was afraid the opener had been damaged as well. And of course this was a Saturday night! I called H2H, spoke to Glenn, and set an appointment for Monday morning. My garage broke on a late Sunday night and thankfully H2H doors are call-able 24 hours. A family member was able to help call the same night and set up an appointment my fix garage the next morning. Glen came within the appointed time frame and immediately knew what was wrong. Glen informed me what was wrong with my garage and came prepared with the parts to fix it right away. He even suggested repairing another component to make sure that this issue wouldn't happen again in the future. The whole repair took only about 45 mins which was awesome for me. Throughout repairing, Glen was very kind and helpful in teaching the signs of how to properly identify a mishap in the garage's mechanism. Glen the owner of H2H Doors was amazing! Having recently purchased an older home that has needed several repairs, it was unfortunate when there was a hardware failure on our garage door after the contractors had already partially fixed it prior to our signing. At some point we knew we would need to replace the door and this now made it a priority. Glen made us an offer we couldn't refuse. He even replaced the frame around the door seeing that a 2x6 was badly warped and wanting to make sure that what he left us with was a quality job. When the door opener hadn't arrived in time for our installation, he upgraded to another that was immediately available at no extra charge. BTW, it is REALLY quiet! I contacted H2H to repair a spring on a single car garage door. Glen was punctual and efficient. He replaced the spring, oiled the rollers and joints and explained how to check the springs in the future. We then checked a 2 car garage door and found the springs to be defective (too small for the size of the door) although they had been replaced some time before. This placed a significant strain on the garage door opener. Glen was able to replace these springs as well, oiled the door and adjusted the trip beam for more efficient operation. I am very impressed with Glen's knowledge of garage doors and the speed at which he works. I had two opportunities to have him do work on the garage doors of my duplex in the past 6 months. We had been having trouble with our garage door opening and closing inconsistently. Even though Glen had anticipated only a brief re-setting of our door limits, he was able to notice some serious problems that required a complete overhaul of the rollers, springs, and opener. I had a Liftmaster jack shaft opener installed 5 months ago by another company. One day I noticed the 2 mounting bolts on the floor because they were not driven into the stud but rather just the sheetrock. The other company would not warranty the installation so I called H2H.
