We are regulars here and we really like this place. My wife is pregnant and has bad sciatic pain and the masseuses here are very good at identifying and massaging out the sore points. They also do a good job with the rest of the massage and they know where to press and where not to press. My wife usually gets the 60 minute full body massage. I prefer the 60 minute chair massage which includes 30 minutes foot massage (starting with you soaking your feet in warm water) as well as 30 minutes shoulder and back massage (on top of your clothes). The chairs recline flat so they can really get to your back well. I've also gotten the full body massage and they are very good with that. They offer ginger oil which is supposedly good for you and feels nice. They give you complimentary hot stone massage with the full body massage which is really nice! They will also do "walkie-backie" which is when they climb onto the table, grab these horizontal bars along the top of the room, and walk up and down your back. They do it well so that you don't get crushed. :) I usually fall asleep towards the end so I don't get to enjoy the full massage but that's not really a complaint! Ha ha ha. They do an excellent job at relaxing you. Overall I'm very happy with this place! The therapists at H Massage are the real deal and provide authentic Asian Style massage. Asian Massage tends to use a stronger hand and firmer pressure to really target the pressure spots where your muscles have knotted up because of stress, exercise, and poor sleep position. While the pressure can be a bit much at first, you immediately sink into a sense of relief. Normally, I conk out about 10 minutes into the massage and wake up feeling energized and refreshed an hour later. The prices are very reasonable, $50 dollars per hour for a full body and cheaper prices for a one hour foot massage and hot tea foot soak. My fiancé booked us in for an hour long foot massage. Massage - a very good foot massage. The pressure was perfect and my feet felt wonderful afterwards. They also spent about 10 minutes on my shoulders, head, and arms with a strong massage. Ambiance - not relaxing at all, which is where they lost two stars. The foot massage area is not sectioned off in a private area so you can hear people coming in and out constantly, not to mention the phone ringing. The patrons also didn't respect the atmosphere, as many were loud walking in and didn't turn their phones off during the service. Price - very reasonable at $30/hour for a massage. First time here today. I'll start with the positives, the nice lady who did my full body massage was good,professional,and I enjoyed it. The exterior of the building does not give me a massage establishment that I'm used to walking into. It gives me more of a novelty shop (if you know what I mean). On the strength of the prior reviews I decided to give it a shot, even though it's in the sketchy side on Buford Hwy that I hardly ever travel. The set up is really weird in the "receptionist" area. It's too dark and off to the side they have it sectioned off with the tall shutters (that gives no privacy) where they have guests sitting to get foot massages. All of the people that worked there spoke very little English.When I walked in, they led me straight to a room and asked what I was getting. I'm looking like, is there not a form or anything that I need to fill out with my name, contact info, brief questionnaire, etc. Of course, they didn't understand my question. Once in the room, for a brief second I thought about leaving just because the vibe seemed off, but I stayed anyhow. :) Again, not the type of massage place I'm used to. There is also this distinct odor in the place. I can't describe it. I can't say it's pleasant or refreshing. It has a lingering older smell. I highly doubt I will be back a second time around. For some, this may fit their needs and budget. I'd rather pay a little more for a way nicer, cleaner, ambience, and an English speaking staff who can provide more of a personable experience and not just a transaction. read more

Amaze balls! Once again, Yelpers come through for me. I was looking for a foot massage place and this came up with great reviews. When I walked in, it was so quiet and serene. One of the owners came up to me and my friend and whispered a warm welcome and immediately gave us some herbal tea. He then offered us a menu of services which included full body massages, foot massages and combo packages. My friend and I settled on a hot stone massage. Not sure what the 'H' stands for but tonight it was for Heaven! Awoke feeling a bit under the weather and forced myself to go to work and got stuck working for 11 hours and then stuck in traffic long enough to come up with an idea to give my cold, sore muscles a little TLC. My plan just sort of worked out as I had considered going somewhere on Buford Hwy before (since I am staying close) and had checked reviews before. It was almost 7pm and the nice lady that I called said she could get me right in and very tactfully asked if a male therapist was ok. I get regular massages but mostly chain ones like Massage Envy or Lately Hand and Stone and of course spas and resorts while traveling. I wondered how a true asian spa would differ as we have all heard of "happy ending" massage parlors but my therapist was professional in draping technique but thankfully not so much as to skip or fear the glute massage. Without asking he went to work not leaving out this appreciated component of a therapeutic massage! There is a bar mounted to the ceiling in the room I was in (and the table larger than the standard massage table) so I can't wait to see what my next spontaneous idea might include... ;-) I will definitely be back and often. The value is more than noticeable in both price and service, I was quickly checked on in the beginning to ensure all my time was spent in service rather than waiting in the room! I didn't get his name but my therapist did a great job and I hope I get him again as my back is completely relaxed and immunity feels stronger already! We didn't have to wait at all. We picked couple massage. Tina and Lisa were our masseuses. They were great and professional. We had whole body massage which also included oil and hot stones. You can also ask them how strong the massage you would like to get. We paid $120 for couple massage and $20 for tips. Overall, we had an excellent experience and it's worth the price. This place is a nice place. A homely feel. The people are pleasant. What I do enjoy the most was the body massages. Talking with the massuese was a bit challenge, but simple short directions helped get through what I wanted. I read some of the reviews and notice some negative ones. Its actually not as bad as how people state it is. The price is actually the same across all the other massage shops you find on buford, so it being overpriced is not the truth. The girl speaks perfect English and some of these places don't. Now, the downside. We came in midday and zero wait. We told the girl who speaks English to make sure deep pressure. We also asked several times for more pressure. It's the worse feeling to not get enough. Then we get great pressure on shoulders and neck at the end of the massage. We got the combination couple massage that included a 60 min massage and 30 minute foot massage. The massage was different. I never has a massage where they massage you butt cheeks but ok. Lol. Truthfully it was more of a 60 minute back and leg massage. The foot massage was nice but it wasn't 30 minutes it was a little less and I guess I expected more. All in all it was nice. This might very well be the most authentic, best chinese-style massage in Atlanta! I used to travel to Asia a lot for work and came here after a long search up and down Buford Highway for the best legit massage place that could offer something like what you can get there. I've now been here about 10 times either individually, with friends and twice with my wife for the couples massage. They are simply outstanding and are so surprisingly strong. A few recommendations to get the most out of the experience: Its a little different than a European massage but just go with it and you won't be sorry. When you get in, remove all your clothes and lay face down with the sheet over you. (If you are wearing a facemask, you can put it next to you on the table). They'll first work through the sheet and then peel it partway down. Be ready that there are some long strokes that go all the way down to your butt so just know that is a big difference. They also do some hot stones, scalp and foot massage. Just a great experience. I always ask for Sophie, who is my favorite. read more

I have been debating whether or not to write this review for a while now. But the time has come. And I'm sad that I have to. This place used to be so great. I found it right after they opened; I usually went for foot massage but occasionally get the combo massage - 30 minutes foot 30 minutes body. But foot is my thing. I loooove a great foot massage. And that's what I used to get all the time here. Any one of the girls would do my feet, or Jeff, the owner, who is also very good. All were great at it. But then it changed. I think they got more popular and got busier. Listen, I don't think legit 'massages' go on back there for everyone, but as long as I could still get a decent foot massage here, I ignored the back room sin. But now my feet massages would be interrupted by a change in personnel, as a previous review mentioned. Sometimes my female will get pulled away for a 'body massage' for incoming male customers and they give me a guy. (awkward, and rude in my opinion) Nowadays it seems they default to giving me a male masseuse right off the bat, none of which feel like they know what they're doing (maybe because they think I am such a loyal customer and won't care?). The last time I went I paid $25 for a guy to roughly pinch my toes and rub my ankles, almost completely ignoring the soles of my feet. He was also oblivious to a huge painful shin bruise which he laid into during the leg massage time. Seriously, where do they get these guys? Also, in this particular instance, my masseuse wasn't present when I got there but I think he was called to come in. Couldn't have I just had one of the females that were already there? I have been coming here for probably 2+ years. It became my favorite foot place fast and held that position for a very long time. [Jeff and Autumn, the owners, are fantastic and nice, so sweet and accommodating]. Sometimes I want to look through my years of bank statements and see exactly how much money I have spent here, as it is easily over $1500. So I am really saying something with that. And I am also really saying that its on a downhill trend for a good ole foot massage in the present day. As someone who comes always at night and has been tons and tons of times, I can decipher that their business is obviously fueled by and geared to the males who come in looking for body massages. The foot massage has just become a pretty front room - much like your formal living room, nice to look at and all but hardly functional. The massages were nice but we didn't care for the front desk customer service or the massage beds. The massage beds were covered with thin, wrinkly/hospital blue looking sheets and didn't give off the relaxing/luxurious vibe. When we went to pay, the front desk lady made sure to remind us to tip for three people like we couldn't count or something. Chill out, we know we had three people, you don't need to remind us.
