When: Saturday, March 17 2012 This is my first time going to a "lounge" in Vallejo, so I didn't have any major expectations being I party in SF or LA. Yea the neighborhood and patrons are kinda sketchy, but the DJ was playing some really good hiphop/reggae, the bartenders were nice, the drinks were cheap, the bathrooms were clean.... However, for some reason the doorman/bouncer did not let my brother in because he was wearing a hoodie. But not just any hoodie, it was a Ben Sherman hoodie. I was already in the club and I kid you not that there were much more ghetto outfits than what my brother was wearing. There was a guy in Air Jordan sweats, another guy in one of those long beenies, etc.... Also, they lied to my brother that there was no ATM machine, when there really was one inside the club.. the doorman was being SHADY!! I'm all about supporting local establishments but if you have employees, specifically the doorman who was collecting cover, trying to do some shady stuff, then how am I support to that? I might give this place one more chance, but hopefully management reads this review and has a talk with their employees to prevent this from happening again. read more

Great place to go and have a few drinks with locals. I met nice people from different people backgrounds. You don't have to dress up for this spot. Parking was a little hangup, but for the price it was worth. They also have pool tables, a live DJ, open dance floor, and food trucks just outside. I couldn't ask for a better dive bar. They call it a lounge, but its more like a dive bar to me. read more

I came here for the first time last weekend for a friend's surprise birthday party. The service there was amazing! Dolores, the owner, was very hospitable. She checked in on us a few times and offered to help out any way she can. We got bottle service so the waitress/bartenders were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. My first experience at the H-Lounge was awesome! I hooked up with their Party Planner/Promoter Jen and she assisted me in throwing my aunt her 50th birthday party there. Her as well as both owners were really help full in making this a night for my aunt to remember. We paid a reasonable price for one of their two VIP rooms, in which they allowed us to bring in our own food and cake and decorate it all up for her. The establishment itself was super clean, chill and just an awesome place to be. Something Vallejo really needs. My hats off to the bouncers for continuously checking on our party and making rounds throughout the night, it made me and all of my guests feel safe. We will be back!!! read more

I have mixed feeling about this place. Its really pretty and the bartenders are friendly but the fact that you have to use cash and that there is a cover is sort of lame. They have a great dancing area and the music is pretty good. The prices are reasonable and all the events I've been to there have been a lot of fun. read more

My only complaint is they asked us to go inside early due to complaining neighbors.. next to a bar with outdoor seating! I recently had my mom's surprise party at H Lounge, and it was AMAZING! Jen and her staff made the night go by so smoothly. I had no worries that night, Jen and her staff set up everything, and cleaned up as well. The decor was beautiful and flawless. Everyone had a great time that night. The drinks were great, and the music kept the night going. Jen and her staff were so easy to work with. I am so glad I went with this venue, and would definitely work with them again in the future. I've been getting my haircut at Headliners for more than 10 years now. Julius is the best barber in town! He is on point, knows his craft and very accommodating and professional. Great neighborhood lounge. I love to watch the Warriors play here. The food truck has awesome food and the bartenders are the best.

The venue is so comfortable and inviting. They have really transformed this place from what it was a couple years ago. There really is no where in Vallejo like this. A Lounge where you can hear live music, relax, get a generously poured drink and be surrounded by various mature ages. They have a beautiful outside patio as well as private VIP rooms which offer bottle service during their larger events. I appreciate the live Reggae the most and they had an awesome role one in when I was there. They also have a delicious food truck called the H Grill. I had the best Philly Cheesesteak of my life! There were all kind of selections at reasonable prices. I met the owner, who was extreamly kind and hospitable. I enjoy going to venue's where the owner makes himself present as well as being involved with making sure the customers are getting the services they need. The parking is limited but no where is too far away from the front door. I am very much looking forward to being able to go back and enjoy myself at this hidden gem again. Being a native Vallejoan (born and raised) and having lived in NYC/NJ for almost two decades now, my husband and I aim to come back to my hometown on a yearly basis. With that being said, I am always ecstatic to see any positive changes and gradual economic growth and stimulus in my hometown. My husband and I attended H Lounge's "Masked" Halloween Party on Nov 2nd. We had a really great and memorable time. We appreciate Julius and Delores Lavares' vision and Event Manager, Jennifer's diligence and outstanding efforts to bring a quality, contemporary, laid back and unpretentious neighborhood bar/lounge to Vallejo. H Lounge offered us a modern bar (including top shelf), bartenders who were friendly and accommodating (excellent Kamikazes!), a spacious dance floor, and a DJ who RAWked (old school, top 40s and spinning some hot Latin beats in which a Salsa After Party actually ensued after the Halloween Party!!! Lots of fun!!!) They also offer two VIP rooms which not only serve for entertainment purposes (Bottle Service and Karaoke too!) but as private conference rooms for business imperatives.) Out back, you have a cool, chillaxed Veranda "V-Town style," an open-roofed BBQ Beer Garden and comfortably furnished with outdoor tables and seating for additional lounging... Security was thorough and made sure everyone was having a wonderful time. Next time we return to the V, we will definitely be back to enjoy the local vibes. read more

I recently had my 30th Birthday Great Gatsby theme at the H Lounge March 7th 2015. I highly recommend this place and Jen M as my event coordinator as she was able to turn my vision into a reality. I had an idea of having a Great Gatsby theme because I wanted my 30th birthday to be classy, fabulous and exciting simultaneously! Jen worked with me for a few months as she was able to provide not only decorating ideas/layout, she was able to assist me with the set-up and the take down. Jen provided food, customized drink names, Dj, photo booth, linens, table centerpieces, decorations to match my theme, and had resources for my cake, balloons, spotlight for entrance, and additional large decorative pieces. She collaborated with me on what I wanted the place to look like and when I dropped off a few decorations and came back to my party, the whole place was set-up beautifully with a nice spread!!!! I was shocked at how she transformed the H Lounge into my Great Gatsby party that I visioned after watching the movie! Everyone loved it and they felt as if they were in the roaring 20s! We contacted the H Lounge for planning of my husband's birthday party. We decided to go with renting as a private party and were not disappointed. Pricing is very reasonable and the owners are very accommodating. The only downside (and reason behind 4/5 stars) was even though it is private after 9pm there is a entry fee =(. I had a bridal shower for a friend on Saturday November 9th. Delores was amazing!! She was there on time and helped me with set up etc. The lounge was very clean and ready for our event. Our bartender was also amazing.. all of our guests had a wonderful time. We were not only able to enjoy the inside area but because it was a nice day we went outside to the patio area to eat and play games. I would highly recommend this venue if you need event space in Vallejo.
