It was my first time going to a machine shop to get a Volkswagen AWM 1.8T cylinder head decked…read more Luckily, Rik there helped me out. I didn't know you had to remove a lot of components and pretty much get to the bare head. Well, with his experience, he was able to close the valves and get a good clamp on it so he could get a clean cut on the head. He called me back in a couple of hours once it was done. From the decking process, lots of aluminum material gets into the nooks and crannies. I had to use an air compressor to remove most of the loose aluminum. I was able to install the cylinder head and now that car is running with no issues with leaking from the head gasket. Excellent work and a great price! I'd go back for more work to be done.

My company needed some welding done on equipment we have at the yard and came across him on google so decided to give this company a shot. He was busy and the first minute or so was him speaking with a person and not sounding like he was in a good mood so I apologized since it sounded like bad timing when he finally greeted me and took my call. I understand things can get quite hectic and the time isn't always right but either don't answer the call or immediately ask to give them a call back. He allowed me to proceed for a QUICK second, literally... explaining we found him on google, he cut me off and said he's not interested and hung up. Not even 5 seconds of listening! I was appalled. I didn't even get to explain what work we needed.... he blatantly just cut me off and rejected work. WHAT COMPANY REJECTS WORK?? We're an industrial company that could have potentially been returning customers time and time again with all the routine work on our equipment, not to mention rave about it to the other sub divisions within who could also keep them in mind for the future? Extremely disappointed, unprofessional and I still can't believe this. They don't deserve new cliental. DON'T BOTHER.

Steve is very honest and all about FULL disclosure. Anyhow, I read the great reviews on here and decided to take my 1964 Chevy Chevelle. I told Steve my over heating problems. Steve listed all the issues with my car, starting from items that needed to be worked on right away to the item that needed the least amount of work. I decided to work on a majority of the items so I took my car in during the weekday and left it at the shop. There are only a few mechanics that will work on hot rods and classic cars. None in my area. I was extremely happy with the work Steve completed. He is very honest, responsive, meticulous, and passionate about his business. Thank you Steve.
