They offer a good foot massage, warm foot soak, hot rocks, everything you could ask for. My issues started whenever they were working on my upper body They utilize a lot of general deep tissue techniques but it is evident that there is not a lot of knowledge of the body and particular muscles that need attention. I'm a thinner build, so many of the techniques they use were especially rough. The movements were very fast, did not feel intentional, and it felt more like my body was being moved around by there hands than any deep work on my muscles. I can already tell I'll probably be sore in the morning. Take that as you will. I would much rather pay more money for a more professional massage. I think having a softer massage that is more intentional in working out the muscles would be worth much more than having thumbs and elbows driven into my neck and back... but that's just me. *Updated* This is the morning after my experience. There also used to be a musty smell that I noticed during previous visits, but I'm happy to say that it's completely gone. The new massage therapists have also been great. I had a massage from Elle and requested light pressure, and she listened to my instructions. The massage was super relaxing and exactly what I needed. The room was warm and the massage therapists' technique was great, I especially appreciated their attention to detail- wrapping my head with a towel so the oil wouldn't get on my hair, really getting into my upper back where I have the majority of my knots. They aren't hindered by corporate massage restrictions, I used to always be frustrated that massage envy would completely ignore my hips and glutes even if I specifically asked for those areas to be worked on, but they really make sure to get into those areas and don't be surprised if they drape a little more on the exposed side!
