I often come to this heb, only 5 minutes from me, and I'm never dissapointed. Like most hebs the hospitality is always great and the options they have are amazing. I always buy my fruit, veggies from here because they have some amazing fresh options. On this day i bought a fresh red snapper to grill and i have to say it was amazing. Fresh they descaled it for me as well.

I picked up $100 Apple Card for my phone and got home it was invalid. Came back to the store was told I was out of luck and they would not issue a refund or help in any way. My $200 week grocery bill will be for someone else now. Hop it was worth it.

Every register open current wait time ....... We've been in line for 18 minutes! Listen love the brand but with popularity comes responsibly. Ennis Texas has a pantry store within 15 minutes and it's just as busy. While we plan to move back to the Houston area wouldn't it be a good idea to enlarge Ennis, improve customer service in both locations and give Walmart a fight for the business???? This location also maintains a 87% in stock position as opposed to the traditional 91% preferred retail grocery goals. Service related review!

My husband is from the Houston area, so the fact that there isn't a local H-E-B here in Dallas was a bummer for him. So I figured, why not take a "road trip" to Waxahachie and let him get a taste of home while getting some dope grocery prices while we're at it? And I'm glad we did. The truth is...my father-in-law grills some of the best steaks in Texas. And one of the reasons is the H-E-B brand steak seasoning. We had some steaks in the freezer that we wanted to throw on the grill; so this trip to Waxahachie was well worth it. ;) H-E-B has some incredibly delicious selections in their sushi section, their bakery, produce, and MEATS. And everything is so well priced! We already love going to Central Market here in Dallas, but something about HEB's selections made bulk shoppin there feel so productive!

We love H-E-B grocery stores. When we have traveled in Texas over the years, we discovered H-E-B to be EVERYWHERE we were along the way and usually at our destination. Clean, price conscious and always with beautiful produce, we shopped there on our trips. Later, when Central Market opened in Dallas, we were thrilled to find out it was a gourmet market subsidiary of H-E-B. Then, be still my beating heart, a H-E-B superstore opened in Waxahachie just south of us!! I had to pinch myself. Founded in 1905, H-E-B operates more than 358 stores, is the #1 food retailer in the Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley markets and the largest private company in Texas. The biggest and exotic fruits and vegetables may go to Central Market; but the same quality for eating purposes comes to this store, too. The difference you ask? The price. Fresh tortillas are made here. Sushi is made on site. There's a scratch bakery. They have Custom Meat Cutting, a Full Service Butcher Case, Grass Fed Beef, Organic Meat, and Prime Beef. They have Floral with Wedding service and an extensive wine and beer selection. Gourmet Cheeses flank the full service deli and ready to eat foods, fresh squeezed juices. There's an unbelievable Sausage and Standard meat selection in the refrigerated section with cuts for different needs. There are condiments, rice, pasta, soup, broth and canned vegetables of every description as well as their own modestly priced line of everything! There's a new online grocery ordering system with Curbside pickup now! There's a full service Pharmacy that also does compounding. Beauty supply. They have a full line of toys and small appliances including Latin cookware and dishware. Pet everything. I go for produce; but I can browse the aisles for an hour. There are Central Market labeled products all over the store, too, on the shelves and in the freezers. H-E-B is a big promoter of modestly priced yet wonderful Texas products. Whew! Let me catch my breath. I think I've come full circle. Helpful, concerned staff; especially at checkout make shopping here so pleasant. I do shop closer to home, too, because it is a bit of trek; but I come as often as I can.

As soon as I walked in, I had a feeling that this was going to be much better than I would expect for a strip mall restaurant. We ordered the pork pot stickers, lamb dry hotpot, and the karage ramen. The pot stickers were perfectly cooked, crispy on the bottom, good chew, and great flavor. The lamb dry hotpot was a kingly meal. The presentation was impressive and the exquisite variety of ingredients made this a meal to remember. The karage ramen was lackluster, I would wager their other ramen options are better. The atmosphere was pretty good and the service was excellent. Overall, if I lived in Waxahachie, I would be a regular here.

It's that type of hole in the wall place that has you knowing it's going to be something. It served a wide variety of Asian dishes from Vietnamese to Japanese to Chinese to Thai, but I wager at its core it's Chinese. We started with the pork potstickers, and they were fantastic. It's hard to find places that cook the outside correctly with crisp on the bottom and chew on top, but Fun did it perfectly. My bf got the lamb dry hot pot, and it looked stellar. He got a lot of food for the money and really enjoyed it. I would recommend if you could handle spice. I tried the Chicken Karaage Ramen, and found it lacking. It tasted like eating pure grease, and though the Karaage was alright, it was weighed down heavily by the broth. The noodles were noticeably homemade, though. Overall, we would recommend coming here.

Finally, I don't have to go far to get some good seafood, GPS literally says 8 mins from my house…read moreand then only 4 mins from my job, AMEN!!! I absolutely love how versatile and flexible their menu is . Unlike many seafood restaurants, this place offers half pound orders on your favorite seafood items (king crabs, blue crabs, snow crabs, Dungeness crabs, shrimp head on or off, crawfish , green and black mussels, clams , scallops and lobster tails) , and the option of being able to build your own seafood boil to your likely for a very very reasonable price. I also appreciate that their daily specials , can be ordered on any day of the week, example: if you are visiting on a Monday , you're still able to order the Thursday special and many restaurants don't allow that. Customer service was miraculous, from the servers all the way up the owners . The owner or who looks and seems to be the owner, was so hands on and involved , making sure to meet his guest at the door , walking around checking on each table , delivering food himself and that was a great thing to see and experience. I don't recall our servers name , but I do recall her being pregnant if that helps any. She was FANTASTIC, so helpful with the menu and just had an amazing personality/ customer service. Food was good, fresh and hot . The garlic noodles are to die for. I chose to build my own boil, and they did not disappoint me at all. Both my daughters had ordered the Wednesday special (1 lb of shrimp no head , half a pound of snow crab legs , 1 corn and 2 potato's ) but accidentally received the Tuesday special that had all the same things as the Wednesday special plus crawfish. They apologized for mix up and allowed us to keep what they sent out but did also offered to remake it all if my girls weren't fans of crawfish. Big win to me , I ate the crawfish for them lol .. seasoning was on point and spicy levels actually matched their descriptions. Mild was mild and hot was HOT. Restaurant was clean, neatly set up , and spacious with plenty of room for larger parties. I recently picked up a small togo order (garlic noodles and the fried cat fish plate ) , and they were really packed in the inside with many people still pulling up and walking in, and I was so glad to see it because they truly deserve it. I Highly recommend this restaurant and I look forward to seeing and being apart of their growth ..

ALDI - All of this came out of one box for $15.99!!!

ALDI

I didn't venture into Aldi's because I heard it was "different" and wasn't sure what to expect…read more Their sale items seemed too good to be true. Must not be very good, right? Wrong! I finally decided to try a few sale items and ended up with a cart full of name brands I'd never heard of. To my surprise, everything was just as good as the big brand names and many were better. The produce reminded me of a farmer's market. Meat and dairy were good. I don't normally buy trail mix, but their varieties made me cave. I quickly returned for more mix and more ice cream, but Bluebell and Kroger needn't worry. I was happy with everything I purchased, but here's why I rated 4 stars: * Hours: They open late and close early (9a-8p). * Inventory: Varies. You probably won't find everything on your list. * Selection: Mostly limited to Aldi brand. * Atmosphere: A slight vibe vaguely reminiscent of what I imagine a food pantry is like. What makes Aldi "different": * Carts: Sign says $0.25 to unlock. Say what? As I was frantically digging, an employee came out waving a quarter. Turns out the first cart had one in the slot. The procedure is to unlock your cart, then move the quarter to the next cart. If someone pockets the quarter, an employee will furnish. Seems like an unnecessary layer of complexity, but must admit I treated the cart with more respect and have never seen an empty cart in the parking lot. Just another way they keep prices low, so I can dig that, man. * Bagging: You're on your own. Checked items are placed in an empty cart and there's a staging area for bagging. Bags are sold at a reasonable price and they bring out free boxes when available. An employee will sometimes offer to help. Why I enthusiastically insist you try Aldi's: * Low prices: My internal dialog made me laugh. A few items had me fighting the urge to look over my shoulder because it felt like I was "getting away with something". * Superior quality: No disappointments. * Camaraderie: Kinship with other customers - "Aren't we smart for shopping here?" "This place is our little secret!" Toward employees - "Y'all are so cool for working here!" Best of all, there's a good feeling of "We're all in this together." If you don't mind making 2 stops for groceries, go to Aldi first! Before you head out, check their store hours, remember to bring your own bags, and review their sale flyer. You'll be glad you did.

I was really hesitant on sharing this amazing deal, because the last time I shared a great deal, I…read moreno longer got to partake in the deal because everyone else was beating me to it lol!!! So many people are sleeping on Aldis , and for so many small reasons, example; 25 cents for a grocery basket ( but you get your quarter back if you safely return the basket ), having to bring or pay for bags ( I'm sure most people have a cabinet full of grocery bags from other markets ), and then the prices be so low for the great quality and quantity of food, I simply can't stay away. Anyways , this particular location is always fully stocked and organized with so much food /products , the cashiers are always friendly and move so Fast and effortlessly. And whatever season or holiday that is present or approaching, Aldis always be on point with the decorations , toys , and other gadgets. My recent find was their boxed snow crab legs for $15.99. I underestimated them for sure . The box had a nice little weight to them , but I assumed it was because they were frozen . But you actually get a decent amount of crab legs in that one box. I got 3 boxes so that myself and my daughters could each have a box to ourselves, we all literally only used half of our boxes. Only downside is having to prepare them, which for us wasn't an issue. Because Most of these seafood spots now days, a pound of snow crab legs you are paying at least $30, we paid half of that for a box each. They were fresh and very yummy . I highly recommend to all my seafood /snow crab lovers to head over to Aldis and get you a few boxes and throw your family / friends a seafood boil for a very reasonable amount. Just PLEASE leave me a couple of boxes , even if you gotta hide them lol !!
