The pathetic lack of professionality by the HEB curbside.

The level of not caring at this HEB curbside is beyond malpractice. Bananas - no bag. Sodas - thrown on top of produce, bagless. Eggs thrown in sideways with other products. Mini Melon - bagless. Nothing double bagged. I spent $197 to have the groceries thrown into a cart with absolutely no care. If I could give zero stars, I would. Obviously, management couldn't care less. I am not blaming the curbside folks. The blame lies with the Shoppers and management. The fellow that came out with the cart was asked to please get bags. He did so...twice. STAY AWAY. I will be contacting corporate with this photo.

Being a Texas stable market, I gotta make sure I visit. Their freshly made tortillas are delicious! The bakery is a must stop. Freshly made pastries and cake are delicious. It's Halloween season so lots of pumpkins. They had these huge ones that are crazy big! The store as a whole is organized well and clean. Things are easy to find, and all the staff are friendly.

    3 months expired eggs

sooo utterly disgusted & disappointed! bought these eggs around Halloween & the date of expiration was 07/28/2023... i typically don't check egg dates because i've NEVER encountered old one but this by far is disturbing. ill NEVER return

Blooms by HEB saved my wedding! Nermin Aqel is a super hero!!! Unfortunately, I my florist canceled on me less than 3 weeks before my wedding and needless to say, I was in panic mode. We got a consult/quote from HEB truly as a last resort. We had two other florists companies that quoted us around 6-7 thousand dollars. Nermin immediately went to work on our quote and it was beautiful and a FRACTION of the price. She really was so reassuring when we felt a bit hopeless. We decided on HEB due to her confidence and expertise. The night before our wedding, we stopped by the store to pick up and Nermin and staff was still hard at work ensuring everything was so fresh and perfect. Instead of asking us to return later to pick up, she took it upon herself to HAND DELIVER the flowers to our house! She went above and beyond! The flowers were amazing and beyond all expectations! She nailed our vision! All of our photos, people compliment our bouquets, centerpieces and bud vases. We couldn't be happier! Brides, save yourself some stress and money and go with HEB!!! Thank you Nermin!!!

I love H-E-B but this one always has expired items. I've seen expired milk, sour cream and eggs. I usually always check my items but they got me again. Expired yogurt :( please do better

I'm from Chicago and immediately upon entering I was like whoa blast from the past this place reminds me of Cub Foods. The employees are friendly. well the one we talked to. We told her we wanted Texas beer and she started naming them off and telling us which ones were good. The a customer came chimed in and said everyone drank Corona. They make their own tortillas!!!! I didn't have any this time around but that's pretty awesome. I've never seen a grocery store that makes tortillas. I love how there's no taxes on groceries. I find that totally amazing!!

I pass up 3 Kroger's, a VERY (ahem) crummy small HEB, Food Fair AND a rip-you-off Walmart to go to THIS location.

First driving in, we noticed it was not too busy. Getting out of the car we saw, heard and felt the hustle and hard-work of the employees rearranging plants with equipment and by hand, we heard them working with customers. Walking in, we instantly noticed the goodies on the shelf in the mason jars for sale and the cool outdoor decor for purchase!; we bought one of everything on the shelf and everything was so yummy. My favorite was the fig preserve (so good over cottage cheese and fresh berries. Thank me later ). We wondered around and placed plants together to eye what would look nice together for our backdrop behind the pool. This nursery was so chill (I felt free to just BE and LOOK. Also, there was a man working in the plants that was eager to help and suggested many different plants for the area that would work in the area we were looking to fill. What we purchased: purple ornamental grass and some Snow On The Mountain (sooo pretty, need to get more to fill in). We also bought some corn nuggets, dried banana chips, cucumbers, PURPLE HULL (already peeled and frozen in a bag), okra, and oranges. All fresh fruit and veggies turned out great with our lunch and we tried all the canned goodies as soon as we got home and unloaded all our plants lol!!! ((When)) I go back, I am looking forward to buying one of their whole chickens, more veggies and looking into some of their plants that attract butterflies . I recommend this place. Parking is very small, so please bring your kindness and patience. Customer service was very great, so the entire experience is worth the time and wait. If you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll answer quickly.

They never even looked at my digital receipt they said it's policy that they can't accept digital receipts. It didn't say it anywhere listed in the store that they couldn't. I even pulled up the policy online I have attached it to this post for review. Once I showed her she asked a co worker who told her it's up to the manager. So she called the manager over and asked him what the policy was and he said it was up to him to make the decision. Chris didn't ask me anything he just looked at me and told her to give me a gift card. I was extremely frustrated. I give Krogers between $400-600 dollars monthly between buying groceries and going to there gas stations so I was upset I asked the lady at guest services why and she said cuz you could act like you didn't return it than try to return it again or steal it from somewhere when I say I couldn't possible begin to understand what she was saying because what who is doing that not me but because I'm black yall assume I'm or would do something like that all over $19.02. Chris was extremely nonchalant and kept talking to his co worker he was extremely dismissive. I literally had to interrupt him and ask him what his name was because his behavior is unacceptable especially as a manager. I just took the gift card because I wasn't going to argue with them I couldn't not after being discriminated against. Why didn't Chris ask to see my digital receipt? Why didn't he ask me for my rewards number? Why didn't he engage in conversation with me? Why was it more important for him to dismiss what I'm talking about and talk to his colleague? Why did he look at me and than tell the lady to refund on a gift card? What encouraged his decision or should we say his bias. What discretion did he use besides a racist one. It's sad it's 2026 and we are still dealing with racism. I can easily dispute the transaction with my credit card company but I didn't and I'm not they can keep the ham which they have and my money. To make things worse I lost the gift card. This is the price they will have to pay to lose a customer. I've been shopping at Krogers for over 15 years I'm originally from Michigan and moved to Texas 3 years ago. A lot of these businesses wonder why they are struggling to keep the doors open. It's 2025 Krogers systems should be able to detect when something has been returned. No one is keep paper receipts everything is digital so a digital receipt should be fine. The lady told me she needs the physical copy so she and scratch off the item I returned it was only 1 item on the receipt and she would have known that if they looked at my digital receipt and returned my money back to my credit card. Long story short time to start shopping at HEB

I also want to recognize Patrick, who was working in the back stocking/unloading items. He took the time to go check for a product for me, came back personally, and let me know it was unavailable. I appreciated the effort and professionalism. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed the tone of my visit. The cashier, Marilyn, never greeted me, never acknowledged me when I spoke to her, and never thanked me at the end of the transaction. From beginning to end, there was not a single word exchanged from her side. When she handed me my receipt, her demeanor felt dismissive and honestly unpleasant. Idk what that attitude was about but imagine how quickly this could've gone downhill had I handled her just as rudely as she handled me. What stood out most is that there was no negative interaction beforehand that would have explained the behavior. Even if a greeting was somehow missed, there is no reason a customer should leave without at least hearing "thank you." One employee's poor customer service can easily overshadow the positive work of others, and that's exactly what happened here. Whole Foods needs to do better with consistency in customer experience, especially at the register where customers leave with their final impression of the store.
