My husband is very well known in town and apparently someone mentioned who he was. The police officer came to our HOUSE asking me where my husband was because he was captured on camera stealing. I called my husband, my husband showed the police officer his receipt where he had paid. Police officer took a photo of receipt and went back to show it to the manager. They investigated and found the video of my husband paying the cashier for the items he had purchased. After all was said and done, not the manager or anyone else even offer or give my husband an apology for what they did. To this day when my husband goes to this HEB, that same manager still watches him like he's stealing. I can't believe that this manager is still at this HEB after all this...guess he wasn't reprimanded and got away with it. Definitely not the way to handle things HEB!

On 8/5 I was driving in the middle lane in I-10 and there was a rake that took out both of my tires on the right side. I was a crying mess calling places, of course it was 6pm so most places were closed. These amazing men were able to help me get two new tires that night. By the time I was able to find a tow truck to make it to this Walmart it was 8:50 pm and they changes my tires and did it with grace. I was crying and so scared and they were able to put me at ease. I had been driving since 3am from Tucson Az on my way home to Orlando Fl. Thanks to them I was able to finish my drive home the next day on time. There are not enough words for me to tell them thank you. I had never felt so helpless before and they were amazing! Thank you Nathaniel and Zamiel, you guys are such an asset to this Walmart.

I've always preferred small grocery stores to large ones, & I really have a soft spot for this one. They also carry a number of jarred items (honey, molasses, pickles, jams, sauces) as well as locally raised meats and I enjoyed going aisle by aisle looking my through their inventory I was also happy to see that they carry a number of gluten free items, including flour and pastas that I'm able to find at my local grocery store. I also loved that they have fresh baked breads and desserts, as well as sandwiches to order to go (didn't try any on this visit, but they looked excellent online!). I did pick up a bit of their jalapeño beef jerky which wasn't super tough like jerky sometimes is and also was super salty, which was appreciated. The staff seemed friendly and ready to help. Across from the store is a bbq spot with seating and I'll be sure to visit there on my next visit. The ONLY reason why I couldn't give a 5-star review this time is I had a very hard time finding the prices on a number of items (especially in their freezer/refrigerated sections). It made it a bit inconvenient and I didn't want to keep going up to the counter to check the costs each time. Other than that, I'd highly recommend a visit!
