Did you know there was a BBQ restaurant inside HEB? Well there is and it's pretty good. You do have to order at a kiosk ( the do have a cashier but typically you use the kiosk) but the folks bring out your food. I ordered the pulled brisket sandwich meal and my husband ordered the sausage sandwich meal. My only complaint is that the meat was slightly warm and not hot. The flavors are on point and it's a great meal! Then you get to go into the greatest grocery store ever!

An unexpected friends birthday gave me the opportunity to make a quick pick up of a cake and check the pulse on this store. I was here after they opened and it appears by today's visit they're doing great. I received excellent service from a bakery associate while choosing a cake. I never have been a grocery store cake proponent. However,HEB has a great chocolate that does the trick. Easy in and out today

Every time I come to HEB the price on the receipt is different than on tags. But today made me mad so much. Today, October 6th 2024, at 11:11am Cashier Debbie D used my grocery trip to purchase a Hallmark Birthday card for herself. As well as charged 2 different types of cilantro, while I only got one. She started scanning my items, and as I approached the paying terminal, I saw that there is a card on the little counter. I said to her: "Someone forgot the card". She replied: "Oh! That's the lady she said she is gonna come back" and took the card and put it in the HEB bag (not mine). As I drive home and go through receipt, I see she charged it to my shopping trip, while lying to my face it is someone else's card. She put it to the front, Knowing I won't take it (since I wasn't planing to buy a birthday card) , since it is not mine! And would later grab it like someone left it. I am pissed!! As well as putting that I bought both cilantro bunches: organic and non organic, while I only bought one. Debbie D, you need training! But being the fact that you are scamming and lying to people, you should not work for a brand like HEB. Manager, please go through the camera and see what happened, this is not okay

We got the mortadella burrata pistachio sandwich, morning bun, glazed croix, everything croix and a chocolate chip cookie. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful and sweet. It's a smaller place with like 4 tables but we ate our sandwich and coffees here and had the rest of the order for later to try at home. But it's a good grab and go or order ahead. They also sell baguettes and sour doughs loafs. *Sandwich: it was better than the one we had in Italy. It was soo delicate but flavorful *morning bun: flaky, cinnamon and sugar.. there's areas of it that are caramelized and has a nice chewiness to it. Worth it. * everything Croix: if you like everything bagel seasoning you'll love. I'd choose the is over a bagel. *pastrami croix: yum! It's a fun take on a pastrami sandwich. I really liked this, I love pastrami and sauerkraut so it was right up my alley *glazed croix: I loved this! My husband thought it was too sweet for his liking but it's like a cronut but better. The croissant is still super buttery and flaky. I will say, you can't eat it pretty lol it's a messy one but I love it * chocolate chip cookie: it was good, I am a thinner cookie person but overall it was good!

The interior isn't big but there are 4 small tables for seating and a bench for waiting. They have sweet and savory morning baked goods - croissants "croix", daily made sourdough flavors, sandwiches, and coffee. The service was great - the cashier was super helpful and gave good honest recommendations. I got a sandwich (mortadella, burrata, pistachio), 3 croix's (strawberry and cream, everything, and pistachio), and a black cold brew. Food came out in about 10 mins (about the time it took to write this review and take a couple pics). Food was really good - bread was super crunchy and everything was very flavorful. Not gonna go in detail. Try it yourself. I promise it's worth waking up at 7am and driving out here! Note - while I didn't get any, I did notice that the sourdough is premade and you get it instantly.

TLDR: LOVE the place, highly recommend. Make sure to have your order repeated back to you!…read more My husband and I love this place. Clean, friendly, homey. Smells like fresh baked bread and goodies every time you open the door. Pastries are SO WORTH IT. They also have seasonal items: - super tangy passion fruit/pineapple danish -refreshing tomato basil danish -fun lemon/raspberry meringue danish We love the ham and cheese croissant too(year round) Giving it 5 stars because we still love it. But had a bad customer service experience today. Ordered a bunch of pastries for 2. We were asked by cashier if we wanted our "tomato danish and elote danish to be heated" Us: "yes, except the tomato danish, pls" Paid and tipped. All was dandy. Went to a table to patiently wait when my husband realized they didn't add the tomato danish(about 1 minute after transaction) He had to get back in line to ask what the mix up was and order it again. Cashier told him she misunderstood that we "didn't want the tomato danish". We didn't get the danish because it sold out (Understandably so, it's super yummy) while my husband was in line. As folks from the industry, we understand mishaps can happen, we still love this place and will still come back. This experience was just disappointing and could have been completely avoided. In the future maybe have cashiers repeat orders back. Which is usually normal for most/all food related businesses.

She smiled, walked over to my car, and handed me a box of assorted pastries and said, "Today is your lucky day!" When I tell you everything in that box was absolutely delicious, I mean it! Every pastry was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. What started as a simple question turned into one of the kindest customer experiences I've had. Today truly felt like a blessed day because I stumbled upon an amazing local bakery with incredible people. Their generosity and hospitality made my day, and they've definitely earned a lifelong customer. If you haven't been to Bresnan Bread & Bakery yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. You'll find amazing baked goods and even better people!

I don't blame them..if you are the best at what you do charge for it...I probably would pay more than $5.75 now that I've tasted it

I love seeing more unique coffee concepts pop up, so I was excited to see what all the hype was about! I actually ordered through Uber Eats, and one thing I really appreciated was the customer service. They were out of the original lemon cake I wanted, but someone reached out to me before preparing my order and recommended swapping it for the passion fruit cheesecake instead, which I thought was really thoughtful! I ordered a few different things because I wanted to try as much as I could, and overall I was really impressed! My favorite was definitely the strawberry matcha--it was SO good and probably what I'd order again next time. I also ordered their pistachio latte, which I still haven't gotten around to trying yet, so I can't speak to that one just yet haha. I had also been wanting to try their famous honeycomb pastry for the longest time because I see everyone ordering it. It definitely wasn't what I expected though! For some reason, I was imagining something light and fluffy, but it was actually much denser and had a cheese filling inside. I can totally see why people love it, but I don't think it was really my type of dessert. That being said, I'm still really glad I finally got to try it! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and can definitely see why Qahwah House has become so popular! Between the unique Yemeni-inspired menu and the thoughtful customer service, I'd definitely order from here again. Next time though, I'm looking forward to finally trying that pistachio latte and hopefully getting my hands on the lemon cake!
