If I could leave no stars I would!! Literally the most idiotic and incompetent pharmacy I've ever worked with. Can't figure out how to not put meds back, even when I call and they offer to keep it 10 extra days... they won't do the work to transfer when they're out of stock, they'll notify you it's ready for pick up BUT ITS NOT TRULY FILLED. I've gone weeks without prescriptions for myself and my daughter due to the sheer stupidity of employees. All they say is yeah... idk sorry. We went to 4 gas stations for air, and all were out of order, the 4th one was HEB. Thank for maintaining your air pumps. This HEB has a really good beer selections and they just started stocking Dragon's Milk!!!! Now I don't have to drive to the mid-west to stock up. So happy. read more

Coming here from the Northeast, I've grown to like this HEB location (the one nearest us). It's always clean and pretty well-stocked, offers good selection of everything except affordable tea, and the employees have all been kind and helpful. Knocked down one star because compared to other locations it doesn't seem as well-organized or decorated to be welcoming. Also, the layout of the entrances/exits and overall map of the store is counter-intuitive and takes getting used to. read more

I come in this store 3 times per week. Each time Louise in Deli, is extremely rude and unprofessional. Today, I stood there for 5 minutes while she kept glancing at me, but never acknowledging my presence. Finally she walks up to the counter and yells, "What do you need?" Ummm....please train her on customer service etiquette. read more

They need to enforce the 10 items or fewer lane. Especially when they've closed half those registers, I've often found myself waiting with only 4 items behind multiple people with a whole cartload. What's the point, then? And the cashiers who "watch" are often engaged in chit-chat, so it takes a while for them to even notice a flashing light. read more

I've shopped at this HEB location quite a few times because I work with a grocery delivery service. They're stocked very well and if you need a minimal grocery shopping experience, they're a great place for it. Unfortunately, they never seem to have many checkout lines open, and the service is subpar. I'm not a picky grocery shopper myself, but I do have to fulfill everything a customer asks for through the grocery delivery service we have. I'm also on a timer so I can't wander the entire store and take my time looking. They're often out of the specific items that I need, and there aren't many people around to help you find it. I found myself repeatedly having to make it all the way to the checkout line to find an HEB associate and ask for help. Then, they'd tell me where it could be. Nonetheless, they were very polite and friendly, up until the end....The lady at the front told me to ask someone in produce to blow up a birthday balloon for us, then when we get there, I couldn't find a single person in produce. I ask the woman at the bakery if there was anyone around to help, and she said to ask "management, who should be at the center of checkout" (aka the lady I just asked). When we asked her for help, she asked someone else to help us, and then both the manager and that person said they didn't know HOW to blow up the balloons. They find a very sweet woman to help us, and we're finally done. When we go to checkout, we get in line and the manager is loudly complaining about us to the woman who blew up our balloon. So anyway, the people here will be sweet to your face and they'll help you, it just takes a lot of effort on your part to get them to help! read more

Decent, clean HEB. I've never had a bakery refuse to slice bread though. Kinda weird, felt like they were brushing me off.

Came to HEB this evening and had my grandson and daughter with me. We walked by all the carts, not seeing a fun kids cart... The ones with a racecar top for the little ones... We asked the staff inside where the carts are located, a staff member named AUROD came to our rescue, he offer to go grab us the racecar cart!! Very helpful & great attitude. Absolutely hostile to dog owners. I've come in there twice after having direct permission from management to find that some kid is taking my obviously just fine dog from where I tied him up (way away from any customer) with me only being in the store ten minutes. They conveniently claim it's due to trying to make sure my dog had water but if that were really the case they'd be putting a $1 bowl in front of him instead of aggressively taking him away. Or how about buying a dog water station like every other store in Austin has instead of having your cashiers risk injury handling something that could easily kill them if it were any other dog? Crap management who can't communicate to their employees. read more

This is my first time visiting this supermarket chain and I'm impressed. Nicely stocked shelves with a nice variety of brands. I enjoyed that each department is like its own small shop within itself. The layout of the store flows well. The staff is pleasantly helpful and I just enjoyed my good convo with the regular customers. Everyone there made me feel like this was my hometown neighborhood market. I had a good shopping experience there. read more

This is my HEB and it has all I need. The reason for the 3 stars is the lack of baggers. I am so sick of standing in line while the cashier has to stop and bag everyone's groceries (because most people refuse to bag their own groceries). I bag my own, which is annoying since we've gotten so used to having someone else do it for us these days, but I do it to speed up the process. What happened to all your baggers, HEB?? read more

Tried Curbside for the first time and it was horrific. The link for your order via email and text does not work. You click on it and it brings you to HEB website, nothing more. It was sprinkling when I pulled up. Wait for it...I saw my groceries being carted out to me in PAPER BAGS! Yes, clearly they saw it was raining and they thought it was smart to load my groceries in paper bags. The website says you wait for someone to come to your window, they tell you if you have replacements, you sign and they load your groceries. The girl never came to my window instead she stood at the back of my car so I got out to help her. Its raining at this point so I am hurrying to load and she is standing there trying to tell me about the ONE replacement I have instead of helping. I grab the first bag and it rips. So I guess I will load the wet groceries on my leather seats and let the frozen food further defrost on my seats as well. I asked for plastic bags as I live on the third floor and she said I got paper bags. Ok so I will just carry my wet groceries individually up 3 flights of stairs. Thanks HEB read more

This is a great HEB. Store is clean. Produce is fresh and well-stocked. Staff are helpful in finding items. Variety of inventory is great. Appreciate that they keep a good variety of Maine Root Sodas on the shelves and Fever Tree tonic waters. They are undergoing remodeling right now (Sep / Oct 2016) and have deliberately placed staff in the areas where products have moved locations to help customers navigate to what they need to find. read more

They are exceptionally Super stars...Vicky knows us by name after a few visits and almost all the time knows exactly what we buy and the # to slice it on The ham off the bone is Great and sometimes Vickey and Quinton recommend your products and take care of us 100% We are very pleased with your store and the Front End Manager Bernie is Also another allstar on your team. I was not pleased with the customer service. Someone in the meat department refused to get me some fish. I asked Drew the manager for help with the meat Department and he told me to wait and I did. Finally after watching him attend to several other things he walked with me to the meat department and asked the guy didn't even have enough respect to please me as a customer after getting a manager and the manager didn't help. No fish for my pregnant wife that's do in 11 days. Poor customer service. They had every opportunity to make this right and didn't care. I wish I could give zero stars.
