I then spent over an hour on hold with NYS and now have been in an email war with Jeff since this morning...still I am not sure if it was submitted or not. Here is the last response I received from Jeff himself Again, this matter has NOTHING to do with me and is out of my control. VERY SIMPLY, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your taxes are paid, NOT MINE, and if you knew that the state did not withdraw the taxes on the designated date you should have IMMEDIATELY, on THAT DAT,E called my office and I would have provided you with the voucher you need to mail in a check. Why in the world would you let it drag on until the last minute and then expect me to jump through hoops on my busiest day of the year. Please no more emails. I did not read your last one and will not read any additional ones. My question was simple...was my or was not my NYS tax payment electronically submitted to NYS for payment?? It is now the 17th and I still have no direct answer to that question. After the treatment I have received from both Jeff and his secretary/receptionist whatever she is I would not EVER refer anyone to him. Consider yourself warned

although i am not commenting on liberty tax or dave bonne sr as an agent for liberty tax, he has…read moresold my husband and myself insurance from the same office. i have asked for my paperwork to be returned via email and thus far have not received. email provides the sender and receiver the best proof. and in todays environment of corona virus, postal mail is such a hassle and a possible transfer of germs. as per dave bonne sr and his functions at liberty tax, i have observed an overly busy office and i prefer to work with someone with a quieter setting. my life experiences have taught me for example not to use a drs office that is too busy, and in a way the job that dave sr is doing is that of a dr because of the serious nature of his work. to note i am not commenting on daves actual performance, as i am unaware of if it is good or bad and i have not used liberty tax at all so cannot comment on the franchise itself, other than to note they have many locations in the area and perhaps some of them may be less busy and may be a better choice. each person needs to make up their own mind. alternatively, if you do want to use dave bonne sr, i would ask for a longer appointment or ask him to see you on a sunday. i would then read all of my paperwork and go over it a few times with dave sr, making sure all is perfect.

The only way I found out they decided to drop the case after almost a year and a half was when I called them to notify them that my mother had died. Even then I still didn't get a phone call back from them so not only are they incompetent and unresponsive, they are insensitive to boot. I would strongly advise anyone who needs an attorney for any kind of nursing home issues to look elsewhere because they do not care you will be just a number and in the end be completely ignored.

First of all, my ability to pay tax and whether I want to sell my house is my own business and has nothing to do with my intention to apply for tax grievance. Secondly, the over $10,000 annual tax I was paying for my modest house before the over 40% hike is already too much in my opinion and by no means underpay in any sense. And thirdly, I was telling her the general accessed values of the houses on my block and try to explain my reasoning behind the grievance, she just didn't want to hear any of it and wouldn't let another chance to insult a potential client pass her by.
