A Lisa Hall was the teller and she said I'm not cashing this check today with no explanation so come back Monday after the customer that wrote the check has contacted us and said it's ok go cash it then so i was completely taken back by this and said I don't understand and she said back I don't care. the home owner contacted her and told her to cash it. Wanted to setup bill pay, but my father in law wasn't ready to do so. The guy was nice and waived the fee for a cashier's check and advised us where the M and T bank was just up the street. He let the guys waiting in the lobby know he will be right with them. INSIDE: Looks like this location has been here for a while. Water in the lobby is nice and dum dum lollipops against a wall.

I came in without an appointment and was greeted right away. The staff was very friendly, and the…read moreenvironment was warm and welcoming (unlike many of the massive, chain banks). I was able to sit down with a service representative (shoutout to Tyler) who answered all my questions and helped me open the accounts I needed. There really aren't words to describe the difference in the level of service you get between a local credit union and at one of the massive banks. Tyler was very friendly and easy to talk to, and I was able to get me all the information I asked for and more. I had some issues with an account a few days later, which I tried to resolve on my own. I spent about 45 minutes calling several different MHVFCU help numbers before I just gave up and emailed the rep I worked with at this branch. I had emailed after-hours but by the time I checked my emails the next morning, I'd already received a reply and they'd sorted my issue out for me. I feel confident that I can go into this branch at any time, and would be able to get any questions and concerns addressed right away. 5/5 for service and timeliness.
