We were greeted upon entry by Mike's friendly office staff and an adorable pup. Mike gave us a few hours of his time, and explained there was no obligation for us to sign up with State Farm -- I've been a loyal Allstate customer for years, as my parents have been with Allstate for close to 40 years. I honestly thought I was getting the best possible deal, but Mike was able to beat that and bring my payments down!! I highly recommend Mike - he is kind, easy-going and professional, and he will save you money. I plan on getting my whole family on board now!

A few months ago when coming in from switching with a problem, I thought I was walking into a gold…read moremine. But after many months of waiting(due to other problems that kept from starting another car insurance policy), things turned for the worse here. With the merger of the smaller Griffin Agency from Red Hook into this bigger company into one, it seems like all those who work here seem to feel they have too much power and may control the entire area's insurance. They used to treat you like family, but now they treat you like you are just another number(policy number) in their database. They told me in January that they'd backdate an additional part of my mothers policy(combination with hers), along with many others. But when it was almost time to start the policy up, we had some communication with them that turned out that nothing was ever done and nothing they said they'd do, ever got completed. Since then, we've contacted another insurance agent in my town to see about switching the policies to these others instead. But while we're in the transition period, our policies are still with this business! When my mother asked me to come in and help her pay for her month's bill (she'll reimburse me later this week) this month, I can truthfully say this whole thing is completely true. The floor may be spotless, but they all act like they are 'top dog' in the Hudson Valley area. Un-merge Griffin Agency, and you'll see more business, as you knew what you had to do and could do things effectively when you weren't merged with them. You still had a passion for your work, when you were not merged a few months ago. But things changed, all our lives changed, but the change is affecting the business negatively.

I called this StateFarm agency and was informed I could take off collision on the car. She never asked if i had a loan. I now found out that with all the loan companies, if you have a loan even if its off the road they still require collision on the car. After auto payments on the loan and all the years paying it off, and putting on and off the road ,i wanted to find out when it was going to be paid off. This is when I found this out and also found out the loan company was billing me for collision insurance monthly for three years and just adding it to my payments. This agency never told me this and said " You should have known this" Information like this is why you have an agent...Diane does not care, like the last reviewer she just wants the money

In fact, as this business has moved and expanded I decided to stay with the company due to the level of service. Have there been a few bumps? Sure, but mostly do to ramping up new people. Even as the economy has tanked and I have gone through my ups and downs Zulch, Inc has worked with me on reducing debt and making sure my taxes have been up-to-date and taken care of immediately. Hello, I've been…read moreworking w/ Kevin Zulch in a professional capacity for over 10 years. I have been a Small Business Consultant for both Wholesale Design Companies & Fashion & Gift Retail Stores. While I am capable of almost all financial guidelines for these types of businesses, I am nowhere near being an accountant. I can set up systems for business to track expenses, categorize them, produce P&L's, etc, but really have no idea what to depreciate, how to handle the tax needs of various independent business owners setup in different tax situations (LLC's, S-Corps, Sole Proprietors) Etc. This is where Kevin comes to the rescue. I have had both difficult & easy clients (personality wise); Kevin was able to handle both w/ professional aplomb. As well, all of my clients had needs very particular to the Wholesale/Retail Industries, with many difficult to track overlaps between their personal & and professional financial lives. Kevin was able to sort out all their knotted, tangled situations, satisfy me, my clients & produce accurate & helpful tax filings. I would not hesitate to recommend Kevin to anyone for either personal or professional needs. My only caveat would be to act quickly ~ his business is popular & growing & the sooner you begin working w/ him, the sooner you tax worries & headaches will go away. I would also like to add that over the years I've had my own share of financial questions I needed help w/ that were very personal (deaths in the family, medical troubles, etc): Kevin is extremely easy to talk to, nothing shakes him & he is impeccably respectful & circumspect regarding all conversation.
