Filed with HRBlock many years, first time at this location. Always paid my taxes directly to IRS. Tax rep also told me to pay my taxes via IRS website! I pay taxes via IRS website, then week later IRS directly took money from my account setup through HRBlock. HRBlock Rep lied to me and never said IRS was taking from my account AND they even told me to pay online. Now been on with IRS for over an hour and gotten no where through there automated system. Less learned avoid HRBlock, they lied or so clueless did not even know how they setup my account to pay taxes. And due to there mistake they can't help... Paid $1,000 for this horrible service read more

Dear H&R Block regional director. Please do a thorough exam of this location. Dear fellow Yelp readers. Suggest you may chose to not have what happened to us happen to you. From Nassar claiming there "was no general manager to talk to to voice concerns" - to his being unwilling to take messages- to the tax work of Nahid who completely mishandled our taxes. The systematic mistruths over when things would be ready, the fiasco in accuracy would have made the irs very unhappy Simple tax work with the lack of follow up, the excuses and the lack of ability to do the job is a serious problem for a fine company like h&r block I have reached out to H&R Block corporate to investigate this office. Strongly suggest you avoid getting into the muck with errors and lateness and carelessness. Or at least read the other reviews on Yelp Taxes matter. Accuracy is everything Courtesy. Caring. And ease are what make a service business thrive. Suggest you go elsewhere until someone gets this office functioning. Otherwise this would be a great place to create a reality show for sure. It's been a year since my last disastrous adventure w/ these people. Fool me once shame on you. Fool my twice shame on me. I should have learned my lesson the 1st time they messed me up and I had to pay over 400. But no, I hoped I'd get accurate info and I adjusted my withholdings based on what I was told here. This time I only owed 362. thanks for nothing H&R Block. I hope they turn this office into something useful. read more

Very disorganized office, especially staffer Munzer Moubayed. He said that an electronic version of my 2018 tax return would soon be available on their website. More than 2 months later, and after repeated requests for his assistance (which he did not respond to), it was not posted. Finally contacted corporate, who were barely much better (1 hr on the phone, bounced to 4 different people), and I got my electronic version. Strong letter being mailed to CEO of H&R Block, so that they can clean house and update their procedures. This, plus recent publicity about their refraining to advise customers of other versions of tax prep software (free), does not speak well of H&R Block. Will never use them again. read more

I have come to this office for at least 6 years. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant. Layvonne, my tax preparer is so knowledgeable and thorough. No one looks forward to tax time, but I actually enjoy my annual meeting with her. It's like catching-up with a long-time friend. She takes the time to review the forms and how different events impact the final number. She will also discuss how upcoming events will impact future returns, e.g., moving, purchasing a home, job change, etc. Their prices are on par with other tax-preparers. I believe you get what you pay for. The US tax laws are complex and change every year. And they are on top of it. read more

I didn't want to go back to the same person I went to last year but they scheduled me with them again so I did it and I should have listened to my instinct. What went wrong? Here we go.... 1) Online appt time was incorrect so was called for a later time...then that appt time (1 hour) was not enough for 8 forms- had to leave and come back because their second appt of the day was scheduled too close to mine. 2) Charged as much as a private accountant that does my brother's taxes was going to charge me. Should have gone there! 3) Even when I came back later in the day the taxes weren't completed and the preparer had to call another office to ask about a refund they were trying to get me which even I knew I wasn't entitled too. So ripped off, day shot and cross my fingers the return was actually done correctly. And no compensation or discount was even offered. Never again!! read more

worked for my coworker...didnt work for me. they made me fee like i was a girl going to see a mechanic for the first time. they were going to charge me $200 to do my taxes because i had a few 1099's. i told them they were crazy and packed up my papers and left. mailed off my taxes to clovis. what a waste of time read more
