I don't know why other people seem to be enjoying Tehrani and Velez, but I can only relate my experiences: 1) I was never given a handoff from Gabe to the accountant working on my taxes, so I had no idea who to contact. 2) The new tax guy didn't tell me he filed an extension on my taxes. 3) The new guy was quite late in finishing my taxes. 4) Gabe himself was out of town the moment tax season ended, and was impossible to contact. 5) I was given poor communication throughout, and literally had to ask for someone to say the words "we're sorry" to me (they had no intention of apologizing on their own for poor service, communication, and organization). 6) Then I received daily auto messages to please review their services (okay! Here I am! Everyone happy?) 7) Then I told them I had a new accountant, and they sent me an offboarding checklist that literally includes the line: "Future Support: Take Note of Whom to Contact If Assistance is Needed: [CRS Accountant Name] [Insert Email Address Here]." In other words, I have no idea to to contact or how to reach them. ...This is completely in line with the communication I received throughout my time there, and a perfect capstone to my experience. I think they are probably competent at being accountants, but they fall short as genuine, communicative, actual human beings. Unfortunately. I am much happier with my new accountant. I do not recommend Tehrani and Velez. read more

I would not recommend this firm if you are a brand new and first time business owner. I reached out to Bobback to create an LLC, and to do my personal and business taxes, but then things shifted to one of his assistants rather quickly. While they filed the paperwork to create my LLC, it was a very difficult process due to the lack of timely communication. Timely communication is going to be a reoccurring issue here, but besides that issue they are also not very user friendly for those who don't know certain tax terms, paperwork, and explaining the questions you will have on the processes. Trying to reach Bobback's assistant with questions was a huge hassle; whether it be by email or by phone. You either have to set a google meet date with Bobback at a certain day and time on their website for a phone call, or the assistant will take a long time to respond through email. Questions I had through email were either met with a generic reply from someone who wasn't the assigned assistant, or the assistant taking a long time to respond to an urgent request, or another request with setting up another google meet appointment with Bobback again. Bobback completely ignored my emails and calls when I did try to contact him directly. It was a very frustrating experience for me, and just trying to reach someone who could answer my questions was a very complicated process when it didn't need to be. It seems that the people who work here go out of their way to make it difficult to speak to him and you have to go through equally unresponsive assistants. On top of that, this firm messed up on the S-Corp election form for me when they sent it to the IRS, because they just had me digitally sign it when the IRS requires a physical handwritten signature. (I did not know this and they didn't communicate that to me) Ultimately, The IRS ended up rejecting the form because of the digital signature and my company is not even an S-Corp because of that blunder of theirs. For the small businesses like me who are very evergreen and need more guidance than others, my experience with this firm has been a terrible and frustrating experience. They don't respond to questions and concerns quickly and completely, and sometimes even ignored emails and phone calls. Luckily despite all this I have found a better CPA that is more responsive and explains things to me in a way I understand. It felt like a losing situation all around because it was so difficult to even reach someone and ask them questions. And when their assigned assistants do try to answer your questions, I end up with even more questions than answers. I would not recommend this place, their staff is sloppy and unresponsive all around. read more
