A great location for shopping. Lots of clearance items and clothes especially for the men and children department as some stores don't even carry kids or a lot of men items. Of course you ladies have a nice selection here as usual as many other locations. It is very well kept even with people throwing clothes everywhere, I like this store more than the many other H&Ms I can choose from. I just hope the brand can go into more XXL as XL fits as a L. I had a very disappointing experience at the H&M store in MainPlace Mall. It feels like the staff here don't care about customer service at all -- no one seems interested in helping customers or even acknowledging them. It's clear that their focus is only on the company's bottom line rather than providing a positive shopping experience. H&M should really consider hiring people who actually care about their customers, not just people who are there to collect a paycheck. They had exactly the items that I wanted, and I didn't have to look too hard, great selection. A day before Mother's Day -I ran in to H&M, I found a cute white and blue striped romper. On the actual day - celebrating my day I found disgusting stains which I didn't see when I bought the romper. My experience was the worse ever when I tried to explain what happened to an inexperienced rude manager as well as the "customer service" rep. To whom it may concern: Please review the recording from the day I bought the garment and also the voice recording from customer service when I called in and reported the crappy service I experienced from the manager at H&M - Santa Ana, CA. I specifically asked if they would like a picture or for me to mail in the item - the answer was "no, they don't want it or need it". I threw away the garment as I was disgusted by the menstrual cycle stains it had inside the trousers. Who checks the crotch area of trousers?...well, lesson learned. From now on - I will definitely check that area for stains before I buy a garment on this shape. Don't worry - keep the money. My family, friends, or myself will never shop at H&M again. I went shopping at the H&M, was there for hours and tried on and bought so much. Eric B was the fitting room attendant and he was SO incredibly attentive and helpful. He really seemed like he cared about his job and doing it right which is so hard to find in a fitting room these days. I never asked him to swap out sizes but he never wanted to keep me waiting when I was rotating out the 7 items to try on. He tried to get me in a close fitting room each time so it was faster to switch them out. He was very sweet and I'll look forward to shopping if he's there. read more

This by far is my least favorite H&M. Not only is this location small, but their selection of clothing is limited. The only fully stocked section with decent outfits would be the men's side. The problem with that is I along with most of their customers are female. Every time I visit Mainplace I still make sure to give this H&M a chance even though I don't hold my breath anymore hoping to find something good. I aswell as a few other customers usually just end up browsing for 5 minutes tops and then head over to Forever 21 a few stores over. Normally I leave H&M stores with either their lingerie, sweaters, or dresses due to their fully stocked stores. This store is sadly disappointing and has an insignificant collection. The Outlets of Orange (The Block) has an H&M that is way more promising and guaranteed to have a few items catch your eye. Save yourself those 5 minutes and skip this store. read more

I've always been a loyal H&M fan from Europe, Asia, and to the US. With that said, you can imagine how many branches I've been to and what my closet consists of. This branch carried all the departments: women, men, kids 8-14 yrs., kids 2-8 yrs., baby, maternity, and Divided. That was the main reason I came to this mall because as much as I love the Crystal Court H&M with their great staff and awesome location, they just don't carry the big kids department. I do pray that one day they will though because my daughter who has now graduated the small kids size, is a huge fan! Set up is not the best. It took me a while to find what I was looking for and it didn't help that there was no staff in sight to ask for assistance. You'll find them behind the register or in the fitting room. Speaking of fitting rooms, oh my! You wouldn't want to go barefoot in that room. You can see this thick layer of dust on the floor that would stick to your clothing when it touches the ground. Eek! I was tempted to ask for a broom or vacuum. Oh and the curtains are horrible. As I was trying on something for a good 5 minutes, I saw this creepy lady outside through my slightly opened curtain staring at me. Seriously?? I tried pulling the curtain for maximum privacy but that was as far as it can go. What ever happened to the doors similar to the other branches?? Checkout was a breeze. It was this big guy with a soft voice behind the counter. Really friendly, chatty, and cool. I liked him. I wish I could say the same for the lady and the manager. Never have I experienced such horrible service until 8/20/13 around 7pm in this unfortunate branch... The merchandise I bought totaled to $95 which from that amount I used a store credit of $15. The hubby found something similar that he liked better at a different store after we left H&M. Since we were still in the mall, I decided to return that one item he no longer liked. Unfortunately for me, I ended up with the lady behind the register. She told me she was going to give me store credit back so I said I want it back on my card. This was $15 worth. She said no because it has to go back to store credit first, as is their policy. With an attitude, yes! And I said, of course not. All the other branches that I've been to would refund me back on the card if the purchase was more than the store credit. It's credit card first and the leftover goes back to store credit. I bought items more than the store credit so I want that credit on the other items that I bought. The lady didn't seem smart enough to understand the point so she said she'll ask the manager. Here I was thinking I would get some customer service but lo and behold, this blonde flamboyant manager just gave me a nasty attitude and told me to go return it somewhere else that would do it that way because there was no way he was going to honor that request and walked away. And that was the manager?? What a joke! So to make the long story short, I told the lady I'll return everything and purchase everything again (except that one item I want to return), that way I get to use my store credit on this purchase and not have to come back again and use it next time. She agreed to do that but said she still didn't understand the point. WOW! You won't see me coming back to this location. Someone holler at me when this is under new management! read more

Let me just start off by saying I am a huge fan of H&M they have amazing prices and in every store I've had some great customer service, but this particular locations is thee worst. They do not care about their costumers, I've never been greeted never, been offered assistance, suggestions nothing of that sort. The only reason I return to this place is because I work at the mall and it is convenient. I too work retail and I can not fathom the thought of treating any of my customers the way they do. This H&M is brand spanking new and feels HUGE! The moment I walked in I was thinking it was going to be a lot smaller but the store kept going further and further into the back. The men's section is on the left, the women's section is on the right and extends to the back and the kid's section (which was big!) is furthest in the back. The work style, more formal clothing is near the front of the store when you walk in, and the casual stuff is more towards the back. There isn't any clearance items yet, but I'm sure there will be as we move into the holidays. Everything is color coordinated so far and it feels nice to walk into an H&M that is orderly (Ahem..I'm looking at you H&M in the Block) =P Nice selection of accessories and shoes also. I bought 2 shirts that I really liked and when I got home i found out that one of them is size S even that on the ticket it says M . I was pretty busy so I took me a while till I had the time to come and exchange it. When I got there they told me they can't exchange it for me because it was over 14 days. I. LOVE. THIS. H&M. Now, I've always been pretty whatever about H&M. While I've spotted cute items here and there at their many locations over the years, the clothes always seemed to fit me weird or just not look as cute as they did on the hanger. I always seemed to have better luck at boutiques or even Forever 21. Then I arrived to their newest location at Mainplace Mall. Aside from the one at Caesar's Palace in Vegas, this has to be their biggest, sparkliest store yet. Because it's brand new, it's especially organized, and I was able to quickly snatch up things that I wanted to try on. And also because it's new, there were lots of good sales going on. So unfortunately for my bank account, I took advantage of these discounts. One hour and $200 later, I walked out of the store feeling very accomplished and fully satisfied. I have to say that this H&M totally redeems Mainplace Mall, and that I'll definitely be returning for my retail therapy fix! read more

My review of this H&M SO FAR (as it just opened) is pretty high. It's clean and not chaotic, even though the store seems bigger than the one at The Block. It's got wonderful choices and there are employees everywhere, so I didn't have trouble locating one when I needed help getting a top down from the wall. The clothing itself seems to be focused on the more professional, clean cut style. The more casual stuff is a little further back into the store. I have no problem with this because I personally am not interested in their casual stuff. Their children's section seems huge as well from what I saw. This one is a closer drive than the one at The Block as well, making it an extra perk. If it wasn't better, I'd have driven past it though. So far, much better. UPDATE (10/11/13): The store is still nice and clean every time I come. It's been a little more crowded, but no where near the craziness that happens the store at The Block. I always feel like there are not enough cashiers there. I've only ever seen 2 registers open at this location, but the lines are manageable. The floor is still the same with more professional women's clothing in the front and the Divided brand and kids clothing in the back. Men's clothing is next to the women's, and they have good selection as well (when I grab stuff for my boyfriend or my brothers). I would still rather come to this store than the one at The Block. read more

I am a huge fan of H&M but the lack of professionalism and customer service is a huge issue at this location. The cashiers are so rude and carry an attitude that makes them unapproachable. It is truly disappointing that H&M doesn't pay much attention when hiring employees that give terrible customer service. My experience with Stephanie (blue-haired girl) and the guy with the strident voice was an experience like no other- terribly rude and unpleasant. It made me feel uncomfortable that the cashier Stephanie wrote my personal information on a receipt without elaborating on why she would do that. When I asked, she simply replied with "because I need to". Such a terrible experience. How long is it going to take this store to fix their ac. It has been broken for over a year now. As a customer it makes it very uncomfortable to shop their. I can only imagine the employees. Why is it that they are being practically forced to work under that condition. You should take your employees into consideration. They are willing to work under the stuffy fitting rooms to make a living and make your business successful ! That is not fair. I checked out main place and found it but the young female Curley haired sales associate was very rude and snotty. Went in and found a jacket I like and they only had two sizes left but the size on the mannequin is the size I needed and as I asked an employee if I could take it off to try it in was immediately shut down and was no we have a shipment coming in the next day and can't do! I have worked in retail for years and have never heard of turning down a sale just because they are too lazy to take it off. As I proceeded to shop around I was then approached by the same employee then saying I will only take it off IF you buy it like what ever happened to customer service.
