Took our new car in, based on Yelp reviews. Was I impressed with the work? No. Impressed with their professionalism? Yes. Long story short, they melted the external weather strip when applying heat from the backside. I would've liked them to let me know of this mistake before I drove away, but that didn't happen. They did offer to replace the part and have a trusted body shop install it. This is where their professionalism shined. The work. I've seen better work, though it's getting harder and harder to find. There are bubbles, blurred lines (creases) and sub-par edges. It's functional, but not the best. They trimmed internal window seals in order to hide tint lines, which they explained after the fact as "industry standard." A sample of industry experts said it is "not standard" and a practice used to save time. I was willing to pay for their time and would've rather had perfect tint, as opposed to cut seals. This was not drastic tint, just 70%! Therefore, I cannot recommend them for their work at this time. I can say that they were friendly and professional. I believe the test of workmanship is whether or not the customer would return. Based solely on their professionalism, I believe I could return here, but only when I was sure that the quality would be to my specifications. Although I can understand the stance of a shop as to their desire to defend their workmanship, one would have to ask themselves why they would give a shop another try at tinting when the film is laid sub-par, the weatherstrip is melted and the inside seals were trimmed unnecessarily? Why, as a consumer, should I subject my vehicle to more potential damage? I believe my review to be an honest review that offered both positive and negative aspects of the experience. As much as I wish to have had a wonderful 5 star review to share as everyone else, I seemed to have had bad luck. You see, I went in wanting to get my windows tinted to keep the heat out as much as possible as my car is mostly sitting out in the sun. I was talked through the different shades and shown examples. The amazing reviews from this place made me completely confident to leave my car here and trust them entirely. I left work early to make it on time for their 1:20 slot opening. Once I went to pick it up there was another costumer asking for the ceramic film, I had no idea about this film or that there were different films I was just clueless. When I went to pay I asked about the difference between the film that was put on my car and the ceramic one that this man was raving about and was then told about the ceramic tint. It was what I had wanted all along but was never told about it or explained about it as I was told that they do with everyone else. This car is my first ever car that I have bought myself so you can only imagine the heartbreak this brought to me when I found out I didn't get what I thought I'd be getting. Even worse, the back tint cannot be removed because it will damage the wiring on the window. The guy ringing me up was very apologetic but I mean what else is there to do? It's already on there. Also, the other man that was working there and helping out the other person told me, "you should buy a lottery ticket I'm most certain you'll win! And with that money you can buy a new car and then come get the ceramic tint that you want." I felt that to be very disrespectful, I mean, I'm already paying for something I didn't want because I wasn't explained as I should have been in the beginning of it all. Found this place on Yelp..they had great reviews, so I gave them a call and talked with Eisho (one of the owners). He answered all of my questions and scheduled an appointment. Brought my 2014 Escape in to have the front windows done (rear was factory and already plenty dark). Eisho went through all of the details (laws, film types, etc.), and was very friendly and knowledgable. He even recommended not going too dark with a white car, since it contrasts and could result in higher chances of being pulled over (even though I met the CA legal requirements). Decided to put 50 ceramic on the fronts, and the work was done in about an hour. He carefully explained what to do for the next few days (no rolling down windows, no car washes, no windex for cleaning) and even put a reminder sticker over the window controls just in case (never had windows tinted before, so I didn't reply expect that...nice touch). Film looks flawless, and the edge looks just like the factory back windows...no seams or gaps there. The car stays so much cooler in the sun, and I don't worry about the steering wheel burn either. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for fast but excellent service! read more

Instead, he helped me figure what I liked and what would be best for my car. A few hours later I went to pick up my car and I have loved the work ever since! It's only been a few months but still it was just a great experience. Last month my car was hit in a parking lot and the driver just took off. I took my car to S&S Auto body in Hilmar because let's face it. They do amazing work! The tint was scratched and they were scrambling to find somebody who would repair it. They called all the shops in Turlock even Stanislaus Tint. Nobody would do it that very day. Now mind you, I have a disabled son who needed to see his doctor the following day.
